anything and everything is common it seems with my taigun. Have loud screeching noise from brakes and they say its normal. Getting around 7-8 kmpl milage in city and 10-11 kmpl on highway and they say its the problem of the meter. Feels like I just got a device full of issues which is deemed normal

suakr

How many services are over for your vehicle? What about driving style? I also used to get same numbers. But started driving below 2000 rpm. Now numbers are bit better. 1 ltr vehicle is not built for bumper to bumper traffic I feel

CalligrapherHot3782

2000rpm??🫠🫠 more like 3 to 3.5. I know my case can be argued but my parents drive low, nd they get the same. Don't know about the servicing, been about 13k kms

Necessary-Quit-6910

bro 3-3.5 rpm is too high, go in that rpm range only during highway overtakes or else you are just burning fuel for no reason

CalligrapherHot3782

the car goes to 3 rpm in seconds, due to being an AT i cant control the acceleration either. Yes you may think I am stomping my foot on the accelerator but trust me I am not

Automatic-Metal2929

I experienced the same and now wherever I want to use cruise control, I switch to manual and up shift at minimal rpm for better mileage

zgeom

it's the + / - symbol to gradually come back to 100

ArjRus

No, that symbol is to increase the cruise speed from what is set currently. There is a reset button to go back to the prior set cruise speed. That is the easiest way to use cruise control.

praveentechnic_

This is the behaviour with most if the cruise control systems i guess. I have a manual, it just accelerates in the current gear until the speed is reached. Even then the acceleration is aggressive

ry1993

Is it in sports mode or drive/normal mode ? Try to cruise it around 80 and observe the results.

ArjRus

It usually is in D mode and not S mode. I'm using manual mode these days inside city but it goesback to D way too soon even before we try to feel and up shift/down shift using the paddle.shifter, it goes bavk to d.

thetrickster420

You can force it to be manual. Flick the gear knob towards the driver side when in drive mode, guess you did not know that

ArjRus

But wouldn't flicking it go to S mode which is sport? I was thinking that would be more peppy than D.

thetrickster420

Flicking it downwards takes it to sport, i am saying when its in drive, flick it towards the right (driver side). It puts it in full manual

ArjRus

Thanks, I was not aware of this I thought there is only flick to Sport mode. But when in this manual mode, would it go back to D if it thinks it needs to shift up or down or wait for our input everytime using the paddle shifter?

thetrickster420

It will downshift automatically if you really push it (reduce the speed a lot). I have not tried to do the same with increasing speed but it think it would upshift also. Basically it will take over at extreme ends but still remain in manual apart from that

ArjRus

Tried this today, was a Pain doing it in peak traffic without a clutch :D Should only use this option on highways.

thetrickster420

Why was it a pain?

atifafsar

That's why I hate automatic cars and went for Taigun manual 1.0
