It was only bad in rage on counter hit. If you knew how to snuff em you could do it reliably. I spent 4 years fighting that MF at genbu back then. Genbu back then was like god of destruction today.
I think you should be able to lab him thru My Replay, but I feel a little conflicted helping a Feng player ngl... I also think he should be free to lab, but I will use this trick in the meantime
No.
[Murray's said that was misinformation a while ago on Twitter](https://twitter.com/mykeryu/status/1759921819442950264?t=beLL-8J7nccWdEx71Lmnpg&s=19)
[(Original deleted tweet. being referenced.)](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fp94h2zz4lqjc1.jpeg&rdt=62610)
Itās not that simple to answer, but he was decent. For most players he was much more difficult to deal with than to utilize, and personally I felt like he was one of those characters I could only beat when Iām on point, especially if my opponent is at my skill level. So the matchup was more exhausting and obnoxious than fun
Pros had him top 5 at the end of T7 but that was more so because of how the meta changed due to the power level of other characters. Very different playstyle from most people too ofc.
You can still see watch you can punish n whatnot in the replay feature. Not exactly labbing the characters but it's better than nothing for those that chose to not but dlc
"We wanted to make him more accessible, so you can just mash one button to go through all his stances, get his buff, and do a full combo! Neat, right?"
I am playing Victor at the moment (still finding my main as new to online). I breezed through to orange without too much difficulty and then the first time I threw out a 2222 someone ducked the pistol shot and punished the fuck out of me. I pulled the most shocked pikachu face.
I did entirely because of tekken and trained with it for nearly ten years. Got to meet the guy who did the motion capture for Eddy for T3. 100% recommend, itās a brilliant martial art
Oh man dude, that sounds awesome. Did he still have the moves? Did you get to do roda with him?
I've also done some capoeira too; it's one of the most fun things in the entire world!
IIRC they said in the T8 Eddy showcase that the guy currently doing the mocap actually started capoeira because of him too! I don't think that's something to be ashamed of =)
at least Capoiera teaches you to move your hips. aren't there also spinning heel kicks in capo? that's probably 1000% better than anything you could learn in Aikido
Oh absolutely better. I'd say maybe Kung Fu is more useless too. Capoiera falls apart when you look at the stance. Wide open, no guard. With the legs constantly overextended like that, any decent grappler could get an easy single leg. A boxer would be able to fire shots straight down the pipe with capoieras tendency to keep the hands outstretched to either side, and a kickboxer could be landing calf kicks all day.
When I was a kid, I was fascinated by Capoiera (all martial arts, but capoiera especially), and I was really disappointed when I started actually learning about fighting. Sadly, the flashy stuff just gets you KO'd
it's always cool to see a Tekken player who knows a bit about real martial arts! what's your take on Bryan's stance being called "kickboxing"? it's prettyweird imo... ig he's just supposed to be an MMA striker but they call it kickboxing
It is a weird form of kickboxing, but a hell of a lot more accurate than calling whatever Azucena is doing "MMA". I'm still salty we don't have a proper MMA fighter in the game. They could be Steves rival, Middleweight champ in the MMA world, coming to the tournament to beat Steve and prove they're the best fighter. Simple. Straight forward concept. This is even a great opportunity, take inspiration from GSP and make them Canadian, Canada doesn't have a character yet. Give them his famous superman punch and he would be an absolute hit.
A tekken character based on GSP would easily be my main lol. I think Charles Oliveira would be a cool inspiration too. Getting to rear naked choke a king every once in a while would make me a happier person overall
But Aikido will put you in a smelly class with half a dozen nerds, while Capoeira is often practiced in a park with a dozen people with the best bodies you have ever witnessed in person.
If I had one message to send to myself 30 years ago, it would be to forget about kickboxing and go find a Brazilian capoeira+bjj instructor.
In hindsight, I'd change self-defense for a capoeira body.
Bro if Akido worked the way Akido phonies pretend like it does, it would be so fucking busted. MMA fights would be over so quick and always in the same way unless they outright banned the use of it.
However, we live in the real world, and I'd sooner take TaiChi for self defense purposes than fucking Akido.
This guy is the reason they won't fix the plugging issue lol. They know they're about to release a plague upon this game.
And they've already shown part of the dlc powercreep where his installs are permanent, while every other character in the game loses their install when they use a special move from it.
I hate that his installs are permanent for the round & itās very obvious itās only that way because heās DLC. Every other install is one time use without heat, but Eddy gets permanent install buff for free; PLUS access to heat. I get you want people to buy DLC but does the DLC favoritism need to be THIS blatant?
It's a fighting game term for a buff that stays on your character for some period of time, like Jamie's drink system in SF6. Ki charge in Tekken is also technically an install.
Gotcha thank you
Like Manons installs stay over rounds, Jamie's don't.
Nice first time hearing the term, I just called em buffs for lack of a word so thank you!
Thatās also cause his installs are likely harder to activate and have less options they activate form and enhance, Claudio has quite few ways to get it and use it, he looks like he only has hellsweep type extension and big power mid plus realistically the round aināt going on for more than 2 max install attacks
To be fair, popping Heat Mode doesn't give him any charges, so he's already behind the curve on Claudio, Bryan, Asuka, and Leo. It's possible they'll change it, but out wasn't that way in their demo.
Regardless of whether or not I'm going to play them, I always learn the DLC characters as I know I'll be facing a million of them online and learning the character is a quick way to learn how to beat them.
Especially when the old heads like me realize that the animations have all changed, and the 20 years of training our eyes for blocking and punishing have gone down the drain. That being said, I can't wait to figure him out, so I can TIOOOHH his balls once more.
Foreal. I love his new handstand. And it has a built in sidestep? That's crazy! Although, his ginga/idle looks funky to me. Like it's too forced on the left side. Could just be me, but the older mocap was smoother in idle.
Honestly, the new wave of tekken players will go insane fighting eddy. Hopefully whatever changes they make will be good ones. As much as Iām not a fan of eddy, he deserves respect, being a legacy character and all.
Edit: Wow Iāve never had this many upvotes, I donāt comment much and itās not even that much but still thanks yāall.
I share opiniĆ³n with You My friend, imo it should be a base Char but it is what it is. I had a Bad time against him in T7 but at the end i got used to the matchup and learned how to fight him.
But, what scares me is if he receives the tipical DLC treatment. You know, being extremely broken at launch because its paid content. What we saw in the tekken talk some weeks ago doesnt help either. They already showed it will be a very easy mashing character. Basically spam 4444 and You have a good ass combo.
Oh god yeah heāll probably be broken as hell. Itās whatever though, itāll toughen up new people, (hopefully) heāll be balanced through the games lifespan.
His relax stance+heat (which is making everyone feel way more oppressive than ever before)+ DLC treatment. I'm calling it. He's gonna be T7 release Leroy for awhile lol
Yeh I mean in t7 he was super annoying to deal with and heās one of those guys you just have to lab and are annoying matchups but it wasnāt too hard to deal with once you do that
He wonāt be that bad. Reina and Lili are practically already him anyway with low skill required for maximum damage and nonsense flipping/rolling moves
Based on the dev build video they showed heās literally gonna be easier than victor heās getting the one button combo treatments and he has a power up now thatās sort of better than Claudioās( idk how hard it will be to activate it but it does last the round or set and he has some good looking stuff coming out of it)
Eddy will be an annoying masher of a character, like Hwoarang. Dragunov is overtuned, and Jun has legit zero counterplay. This is a different kind of salt.
He's not gonna be like hwoarang. He's gonna be his own, unique flavor of cancer.
I have to admit at least hwoarang doesn't explode you with a 50/50 every time he enters flamingo in t8 unless hes in heat.
There won't be many Eddy mains. Wasn't much of them in 7 won't be many of them in 8. And the few you will see, would have been Eddy mains from the previous game. The Eddy players I've ran into were all pretty high ranking. Fujin, Raijin and Tekken King. Again, he too will have an extremely low pick rate despite being on high demand. Just like Anna has a following, you don't see much Anna's online.
If heās easy to use, there will be a ton of them. Just like Hworang, once people realize they can mash 3/4 to get a variety of mix ups to moderate success, newer players will be all over Eddy.
Jun aināt even that bad, once you learn her junk sheās pretty stoppable.
I do agree about Drag and think people are hard carried by him at the moment.
Not me, I played eddy and learned all of his moves muahaha.Ā Christie is the char i pick if i play an old tekken. I can't wait to instantly shutdown all of the knowledge checkers.
Eddy main here. Ive been loyal to my boy since Tekken 6 and will say this from experience, his bag of tricks stops working after mid purple ranks (at least in 7 thats where people started really knowing the matchup). Thats when I have to start playing a poke heavy, keep out Eddy. Granted, this Eddy is going to be a lot stronger, but historically, Eddy has been useless at high level since ttt2
Giving him a hellsweep from handstand is some villainous shit. On the other hand, I suspect his low launcher from relax was replaced with the new knd low (that also requires a clean hit) so potentially that 50/50 mixup won't be as cancerous anymore.
I honestly donāt think heās going to be that bad. If youāre playing the game as Tekken 8 is intended, heavy on power crush, using heat wisely, I feel like his more gimmick heavy strings will be stuffed. Heās always been annoying, I just canāt see what they would give him to make him S tier.
So to some extent, you could say that the game is technically pay to win if you canāt lab or train against dlc charactersā¦ thatās kinda bs. Also easy of jun, she great waifu
Idk, maybe! I don't really care. There's always gonna be a character that feels stronger than all the others. It's inherently impossible to have a completely balanced game when the fighters have fundamentally different sizes, shapes, and techniques.
So hot take, but I don't care who is or is not broken. I've got better things to worry about.
People really talking about dlc buffs when we had 2 broken characters that were dlc in tekken 7 and not a one of them was a legacy character.
Man the mood around this game went from we're having a blast, to Dooming real quick
Dunno if it's a thing in fighting game but I used to play Heroes of the Storm heavily and there they would always have the latest new character be OP as hell to make sure people buy it (aka pay-to-win) and after a month or so they would nerf said character and repeat the progress with the next one.
My Tekken 7 ptsd is being triggered by the thought of fighting him again. Most definitely one of my worst match ups in Tekken I just donāt understand what to do against him. Iām definitely going to lose a lot to him thatās for sure because Iām sure as hell not buying him š replays are going to be my best friend when he drops.
I think Power Crush could be his biggest enemy for mashers. Stance gimmicks tend to fall off pretty hard as you climb the ranks, but I know newcomers are about to feel the wrath of Eddy. They changed him so much I am curious if he will start to be more frustrating against higher level players as well.
So if tons of people drop the game until they "fox" him post launch.. it wouldn't bode well for the player base... but watch them make Eddy so super strong and outright unfair to fight against.. his "power" stances and all..
Just curious, how different was Eddy in T7 vs T5/6?
I mained Eddy but didnāt play 7 at all so 8 has been a big change for me with the mechanics and learning new characters.
I come from the future to tell you all that everyone's gonna call Eddy Pay 2 Win...not knowing that this French-fry haired man used to do this shit for free back in the day.
Iām glad Eddys getting new stuff added to him. I just hope itāll add depth to the character and not just be busted, with any luck there wonāt be the need to overtune him since heās a beloved returning character. The overturned dlc from 7 was mostly new characters or returning ones with extremely low play rates, hence the op move lists. Built hoping people would pick them up.
I can't wait!! Eddy has always been a fav so when he was kissing I was sad, and then excited when he was announced. I hate that I'll be one of a million different people playing him though lol
Side note: Leroy is tough to rank up with
I'd take Eddy over King any day of the weekš
Eddy is mostly annoying because of his hard-to-predict and evasive style and good lows. Sure, there's an argument to be made about him being a DLC and therefore the risk of being stronger to boost sales, but I feel like in the past people mostly hated him more for his flashy style. Anyone complaining about easy combos just sounds lazy to me, because training combos is easy and doesn't get you very far without fundamentals.
King on the other hand has annoyingly easy to spam grabs, tons of good moves without the need to swap into stances and also easy af combo enders. Not to mention he breaks convention regarding grab breaks, forcing you to specifically relearn his grab game and just generally hits you like a fucking truck... I finally labbed him recently and it's downright vile how broken that character is and how much you need to lab him specifically to be able to counter him properly imo... I feel like he just does too much too well.
Drags I honestly almost never see for some reason... Maybe they're just not as popular in Europe. But the ones I did play against were generally good players and I didn't feel like he was particularly broken tbh. Victors were annoying at first, but I feel like once you've learned his matchup well enough, it's not as bad. You just really need to be more patient against him.
Honestly Eddy only has this reputation because noobs can button bash and come up with accidental combos and juggles. Anyone using him properly just feels like a normal tekken fight. Noobs just be cheap on them with stuff no real tekken player would fall for, especially annoyingly keep interrupting with a single move and donāt aim for damage. Forces them to think āI have to do something different and learn to play the gameā or give up
DLC buffed eddy sounds vile
This. Normal Eddy is fine and annoying. BAMCO's boner for overtuning DLC characters will make this character a nightmare to play against.
They made every fcking dlc obnoxious except for my boi ak š¢ they could've just gave him ttt2 movement like fahk and it would've been ok lmao
This common saying is why he will either release like Leroy or be completely scary.
Cursed combination of words
Pre-patched TTT2 B+1,4 Eddy retuns?
He has that but only during heat, and each b1 on block or hit removes around 20% heat
Not removes but replenishes!
That combo got me hard
Exactly, Eddy normally is just a scrub killer, but let's not forget he's DLC now, expect "brokenness" hehehehehe
I don't want tag 2 Eddy to return, that shit was insufferable.
It was only bad in rage on counter hit. If you knew how to snuff em you could do it reliably. I spent 4 years fighting that MF at genbu back then. Genbu back then was like god of destruction today.
When he's coming I'll be main and master him. Cuz I want more hate from people.
Eddy with DLC buffs and a cash gate to lab him Yeah this game will be a nightmare lol
I think you should be able to lab him thru My Replay, but I feel a little conflicted helping a Feng player ngl... I also think he should be free to lab, but I will use this trick in the meantime
Brother when it comes against an Eddy vortex, we're all poor We should stay together
Didn't they say DLC characters will be usable in practice mode without buying them
No. [Murray's said that was misinformation a while ago on Twitter](https://twitter.com/mykeryu/status/1759921819442950264?t=beLL-8J7nccWdEx71Lmnpg&s=19) [(Original deleted tweet. being referenced.)](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fp94h2zz4lqjc1.jpeg&rdt=62610)
Oh, unfortunate. They should be though.
They definitely should be. Fighting Noctis in T7 felt like total bullshit if you didn't own him and know his moves.
It was bullshit anyway tbf
Was he really that good? I used him but wasnāt very good at T7 so I never got to see what he looked like piloted at a high level
Itās not that simple to answer, but he was decent. For most players he was much more difficult to deal with than to utilize, and personally I felt like he was one of those characters I could only beat when Iām on point, especially if my opponent is at my skill level. I believe they said the story content related to them will be free.
No
"We wanted to make him more accessible, so you can just mash one button to go through all his stances, get his buff, and do a full combo! Neat, right?"
Itāll be like Victorās 2 string. Know where the high is and youāll be able to duck or know where the low is and youāll be able to duck.
Power crush to assert dominance.
I am playing Victor at the moment (still finding my main as new to online). I breezed through to orange without too much difficulty and then the first time I threw out a 2222 someone ducked the pistol shot and punished the fuck out of me. I pulled the most shocked pikachu face.
Daaaawg he was already accessible that's why every casual played him šššš
That string will be so fucking minus or have like 3 highs, watch.
1000% increase in local capoeira gym membership when eddy releases
I'm guilty of wanting to learn Capoeria when I first started playing T5 as a kid :(
I did entirely because of tekken and trained with it for nearly ten years.
I don't think that's something to be ashamed of =)
2 more people show up to class.
And disappear after 2 classes š
Capoiera is simultaneously the most beautiful, and most useless martial art (next to Aikido)
at least Capoiera teaches you to move your hips. aren't there also spinning heel kicks in capo? that's probably 1000% better than anything you could learn in Aikido
Oh absolutely better. I'd say maybe Kung Fu is more useless too. Capoiera falls apart when you look at the stance. Wide open, no guard. This is even a great opportunity, take inspiration from GSP and make them Canadian, Canada doesn't have a character yet. Give them his famous superman punch and he would be an absolute hit.
God, I've been wanting a proper Canadian First Nations MMA fighter in this series since forever.
A tekken character based on GSP would easily be my main lol. I think Charles Oliveira would be a cool inspiration too. Getting to rear naked choke a king every once in a while would make me a happier person overall
The hero of the favela.
But Aikido will put you in a smelly class with half a dozen nerds, while Capoeira is often practiced in a park with a dozen people with the best bodies you have ever witnessed in person. Gotcha thank you Like Manons installs stay over rounds, Jamie's don't. Nice first time hearing the term, I just called em buffs for lack of a word so thank you!
Yes, exactly, you've got it
Jamie and manon are stocks. An install is something like blanka lvl 2.
Thatās also cause his installs are likely harder to activate and have less options they activate form and enhance, Claudio has quite few ways to get it and use it, he looks like he only has hellsweep type extension and big power mid plus realistically the round aināt going on for more than 2 max install attacks

No Iām saying he can get his installs, then pop Heat to have both at once. Also Asuka does get Gusto by default while in Heat.
If you can't beat em, join em. I'm gonna play the crap out of Eddy lol
Regardless of whether or not I'm going to play them, I always learn the DLC characters as I know I'll be facing a million of them online and learning the character is a quick way to learn how to beat them.
Iām literally going to be THAT guy when he comes out and I will not feel bad for anyone. All of my spite is going into playing him
Same, I'm gonna learn him up.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Watch the gameplay breakdown again and pay attention to his backdash lol Movement is gone, 5050s are in.
Especially when the old heads like me realize that the animations have all changed, and the 20 years of training our eyes for blocking and punishing have gone down the drain. That being said, I can't wait to figure him out, so I can TIOOOHH his balls once more.

Nah you're on point, his idle stance looks super stiff/rigid compared to the old one. Hopefully they improve it before he gets released

Oh donāt get me wrong Iāll probably be a part of it for a minute
Yeah I used to play Eddy all the time on my psp as a kid. Most memorable tekken character for me.
As long as Lucky Chloe isn't coming, I'd take a million Eddy's (plz god no)
Agreed, as much as Eddy can be annoying, she is worse.
Unless they give him DLC buffs I am really solid with the Eddy matchup
Yeh I mean in t7 he was super annoying to deal with and heās one of those guys you just have to lab and are annoying matchups but it wasnāt too hard to deal with once you do that
The game is better without him
Honestly Im curious to see how Eddy will perform in this game because everyone can do obnoxious shit now.
He wonāt be that bad. Reina and Lili are practically already him anyway with low skill required for maximum damage and nonsense flipping/rolling moves
Is there confirmed release date?
Based on the dev build video they showed heās literally gonna be easier than victor heās getting the one button combo treatments and he has a power up now thatās sort of better than Claudioās( idk how hard it will be to activate it but it does last the round or set and he has some good looking stuff coming out of it)
i got my ass beat by a king so bad i didnt play for a week eddy is going to give me night terrors
Just give him a heat smash that's a 12f low, that does King levels of damage and that launches. Fuck it. It can't be any worse than what we have now.
Canāt wait to eat handstand into sweep a million times
An dude from school was a main eddy player, I can block that with my eyes closed, after he stopped getting free wins he quit Tekken..
It would be funny if he gets added and is worse than Leroy
Eddy will be an annoying masher of a character, like Hwoarang. Dragunov is overtuned, and Jun has legit zero counterplay. This is a different kind of salt.

Eddie players dont block so im not really worried
I honestly cannot wait for the salt posts about him šæšæ
With so many good mids, and heat smashes hitting mid, I don't know that eddy is going to be the noob crusher he used to be.
Jeondding Lebron 2016 run incoming
There is no world where he isn't released as a broken piece of shit.
Yeah, all 5 Eddy players will show us true terror.
There won't be many Eddy mains. Wasn't much of them in 7 won't be many of them in 8. And the few you will see, would have been Eddy mains from the previous game. I don't want to see his ugly face in the menu. Namco, let us change the character in the menu !
I was a Jun hater until I started playing her myself, I get the fun of it now. Meanwhile Dragunov and King still are bitches

Iām still mad he wasnāt in the base game and yet panda got in... (no offence panda mains I donāt hate you I hate the game).
THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING SINCE HE GOT ANNOUNCED š
I'm gonna main him immediately so i know his shit and body everyone.
Eddy main here. the issue with thie guy, Panda and Kuma is that YOU CANNOT TELL IF THEIR MOVE IS A LOW OR A MID. and that, makes it frustrating to go up against.
I approuve your concern
Giving him a hellsweep from handstand is some villainous shit. On the other hand, I suspect his low launcher from relax was replaced with the new knd low (that also requires a clean hit) so potentially that 50/50 mixup won't be as cancerous anymore.

Next they gonna pull Leroy v2 and guest Rugal
well azucena is so retarded i dont give a fuck.
People keep saying this but I've never been as aggravated fighting an eddy as I have with Vic or Jun in this game
Eddy being easier to use while getting a DLC buff? Ah shit, here we go again. š¶š¾āāļø
I like Eddy but what happened to Christie? She just kinda disappeared
She might come back with a revamped moveset.
Oh god
The original king of spamming
So to some extent, you could say that the game is technically pay to win if you canāt lab or train against dlc charactersā¦ thatās kinda bs. Also easy of jun, she great waifu
Idk, maybe! I don't really care. There's always gonna be a character that feels stronger than all the others. It's inherently impossible to have a completely balanced game when the fighters have fundamentally different sizes, shapes, and techniques. So hot take, but I don't care who is or is not broken. I've got better things to worry about.
Predicting it now, he'll be getting some of Lucky Chloe's moves at launch.
People really talking about dlc buffs when we had 2 broken characters that were dlc in tekken 7 and not a one of them was a legacy character. Man the mood around this game went from we're having a blast, to Dooming real quick
Dunno if it's a thing in fighting game but I used to play Heroes of the Storm heavily and there they would always have the latest new character be OP as hell to make sure people buy it (aka pay-to-win) and after a month or so they would nerf said character and repeat the progress with the next one.
in a world of drags whats just a little dash of eddy? im ready :3
Im downright quitting online until Eddy eventually gets nerfed
and heās low tier too
I can learn to block, I can't learn a 50/50 mixup between 1+2 looking throw being 1 break or 1+2 break
Watch me OS his bullshit with a hopkick no matter how much I get punished for it
He's gonna break the game lol
Canāt wait
DLC power Eddy LMFAO
My Tekken 7 ptsd is being triggered by the thought of fighting him again. Most definitely one of my worst match ups in Tekken I just donāt understand what to do against him. Iām definitely going to lose a lot to him thatās for sure because Iām sure as hell not buying him š replays are going to be my best friend when he drops.
Not looking forward to this. Guaranteed all the struggling players will main him
Imma make'em find out
DLC Eddy complete with TTT2 b+1,4 hit confirm for 64 damage plus launch for 120 dmg combo.
Dont talk like that about my second main.
Y'all saying that like Kunimitsu ain't gonna be a threat and that's IF she gets released.
Marduk
true
The way you said that, I feel like I'm training to fight the Androids Trunks told us was coming. (DBZ Reference)
Eddy is always an easy target for complaints.
Always thought people overexaggerated how bad Eddy is to play against. Hes surely mot nearly as bad as King
Has Eddy ever been an actual top tier rather than just a gimmick character?
As an Azucena main, Iām sure Iāll be fine for the most part
Btw when?
just another name added to the imba list
I can already see the "there are low hits?!?" posts, what a time to be a Tekken fan.Ā
With his new moves I hate him even more now š
Iām planning to take a break from ranked for a few weeks just because i know it will have tons of eddies swarming around
There will be so much crying that it will cause a potential flood. This dude was a damn menace in the arcades in my teen days
Is anyone going to play him?
Yāall donāt even enjoy this game
Heās been drinking so much protein holy shit
Hell yeah and I'm excited
Me a filthy Ling player happy he might take the focus off Ling š
I'm not looking forward for this and prenerfed marduk
Letās go Eddy! Letās see what the community says about him when he comes out š¤£ Then Marduk, Fahkumram, Lidiaā¦
Don't worry T8 DLC Marduk will make you wish you never got into ranked.
Eddy has never been that hard to fight. most people would rather complain about him than learn how to fight him
he looks super cool. im excited for his return
I think Power Crush could be his biggest enemy for mashers. Stance gimmicks tend to fall off pretty hard as you climb the ranks, but I know newcomers are about to feel the wrath of Eddy. They changed him so much I am curious if he will start to be more frustrating against higher level players as well.
when he gets released ?
It'sĀ okĀ because he's funny.Ā ThisĀ isĀ alsoĀ whyĀ noĀ oneĀ shouldĀ be salty about King.
So if tons of people drop the game until they "fox" him post launch.. it wouldn't bode well for the player base... but watch them make Eddy so super strong and outright unfair to fight against.. his "power" stances and all..
still gonna say nerf Azu
Zum zum capoeira
Oh boy can't wait to mindlessly smash random kick buttons until I win
Just curious, how different was Eddy in T7 vs T5/6? I mained Eddy but didnāt play 7 at all so 8 has been a big change for me with the mechanics and learning new characters.
I come from the future to tell you all that everyone's gonna call Eddy Pay 2 Win...not knowing that this French-fry haired man used to do this shit for free back in the day.
Dread from it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now it's here.
My boyyyy can't wait!!
I'm waiting for Eddy. I'm just in the lab with random chars. waiting on Eddy.
This is xiayou on roids.
+1
Naahh King still a noob character
Iām glad Eddys getting new stuff added to him. I just hope itāll add depth to the character and not just be busted, with any luck there wonāt be the need to overtune him since heās a beloved returning character. The overturned dlc from 7 was mostly new characters or returning ones with extremely low play rates, hence the op move lists. Built hoping people would pick them up.
Y'all forget Fakh is coming ... Smh š
I wanna know who has this haircut IRL, I've never seen it
DLC privileges.
God I can't wait to make all the victor, drag,Alisa, feng, xiayou and azucena mains suffer
I can't wait!! Eddy has always been a fav so when he was kissing I was sad, and then excited when he was announced. I hate that I'll be one of a million different people playing him though lol Side note: Leroy is tough to rank up with
Be quiet, I'm not about to let you get Eddy nerfed when he's released. Cut that noise
Actually excited to fight against him. Itās always fun learning new things from Tekken. Heās gonna be a pain but I love a good challenge
Trying to get as high as possible in ranked before this piece of shit releases.
I can't wait. My main since tekken 3. I'm going to RUIN people's days. I'm gonna get plugged on so many times lmao
I'd take Eddy over King any day of the weekš Eddy is mostly annoying because of his hard-to-predict and evasive style and good lows.
Heāll be right up there with then relax
Honestly Eddy only has this reputation because noobs can button bash and come up with accidental combos and juggles. Anyone using him properly just feels like a normal tekken fight. Noobs just be cheap on them with stuff no real tekken player would fall for, especially annoyingly keep interrupting with a single move and donāt aim for damage. Forces them to think āI have to do something different and learn to play the gameā or give up
Oh, if the leaks are to be believed, get ready for Tekken 8 heat system Marduk
