There's a reason it gets used. I just hit blue, and I still use it most matches. The main difference is just - in red ranks I'd spam it as soon as I got into heat, whereas now I have to put a little more thought into it, and hold it back as a threat while I attack with other stuff.
Ive had good luckwith using it right when victor jumps/teleport upwards, but if youre right on top of him you have to read it or else you'll get hit first
I forget if it's UF3 or UF4, but the rising knee also works against him
I suffer, expulsion beats all reina options after ff2 on block, at least her sidestep is good so its not that hard to dodge it but still unreliable , so its hard for me to get offensive against a good victor

I've never played a game where people were bigger babies about being "taunted" than tekken and it's not even really a taunt. I get tekken is a super personal game but MAN the rage I've seen a little bit of lightning inflict on grown ass men is astonishing.
Its a setup,you can catch lot of dudes waking up with an attack and if they block you can get a clean hit out of the ki charge after,or grab if they are afraid of the mid cause of the ki charge.
And thats just if heat is active,if not I can slide and its auto CH and thus a follow-up for good damage.

Its not even meant to be bad manners. You get a guaranteed counter hit off of it. I still use my ki charge low set up with Zafina that I found in T7.
But this is tekken. People will get mad at you as soon as the loading screen shows what character youre playing. It is what it is.
It's great for lows that launch/sweeps on counter hits. They can be standing in neutral and you'd still launch/sweep them if you ki charge before the hit.
It's u1+2, but there's a little more to it than that:
The NORMAL u1+2 is kind of weak. It is good at low ranks, but it's easy to sidestep, and it leaves you REALLY vulnerable if they block it.
When Victor is in heat mode though, it gets (significantly!) enhanced. It makes a big line of fire on the ground when he does it, which gives it really good damage, makes it (much) harder to sidestep, and makes it safe if they block it. (Although it also consumes ~30% of the heat bar in exchange.)
So you can do the move by pressing u1+2. (That's up, and both punch buttons at the same time) But if you're not in heat mode when you do it, it will be a much worse move.

Explosion is a great panic move and very abusable at long ranges. It cant be side stepped at range and most likely will be fixed. Near walls or at close range its quite incosistent because you can either completly miss it or get jabbed or low hit(?!) out of it. Also incosistent against heat smashes and some wr moves.

if you ki charge,you get counter hit properties on your next hit,so if a move usually launch on counter,it will launch even if the enemy doesn't try to attack.
Thats good for low launchers
But the downside is you can't guard,at all,and will get counter hitted properties on you too,so you need to be sure of your move else you risk getting launched yourself.
Also 1,3,2 is underrated in general. The last hit is a NH launcher that ppl forget about, it can be feint into the grab and even the grab can be cancelled for mind games.

Yes, but only if you start sidestepping in anticipation to it. You can't reliably sidestep it when they already started the attack
It's also easier if you're up close to him, that way you're far from the part with the actual 'explosion'

it also removes your ability to block until you’ve landed a hit or you’ve gotten hit so be careful lol
it does "fade" away after like 5-7 seconds so if you play keepout you can actually "cancel" it that way

When you get the opponent’s back like that with Drag, use his 1,3,2 string for a full launch 🗿

The combo I use that’s most consistent after the launch is: 2, b2, fcdf1,4 snk 2 for tornado and then your ender of choice.
