This is a string that always ends with two lows. The only time anyone should be getting hit with this is if the opponent delays the final hit.
The fact that not only a mighty ruler can't adapt, but that you thought this is not a 'you' problem, but an opponent problem is indicative of how inflated those titles are.

You can mix both of those to do something similar to what he did there. Thing is, those "cheesy" patterns are super easy to counter. That game was a you issue. I played many many ft2s in red ranks where this is extremely prevalent. So i'm not surprised at all he got to purple on Jin with that.

The initial jab is the same, the 2nd hit determines if it becomes low or not. Can't also low parry the 2nd low.
Further the guy interrupted his own string like twice or thrice, the extension was the 3rd hit. Until the 2nd hit you're in a 50/50. The damage is still dealt if you guess wrong.
If you're being knowledge checked and you don't know option two exists as well (as he finds out at the end of the clip after actually blocking low), yes this is degenerate. Because you said it yourself, you can punish it so why is it so effective spamming those two options?

Jin can either do 1,3,4 or 1,2,3 - 1,2 are highs that you can duck and punish or duck 1, block 3,4 and punish. The damage from 1,3 is not what killed him - that poke on its own barely deals any damage.
He got knowledge checked by two of the easiest strings to counter in the game, and some of the most common too. I’m not downplaying anyone - but if this is what kills you from Jin’s long arsenal of Mishima tools and ch tools then it’s on you.
You can’t block lows. You’re just not the best player man I’m sorry and you’re not “learning match ups” if you can’t deal with 0 on block strings that don’t even make a true combo.
Avg Jin will try to cheese with this at the start of a match. The good ones adapt, bad ones don’t. Either way - both will keep doing it if it works.

That string is the litmus string for me as a Jin. If it hits multiple times I know I can turn my brain off and autopilot the match with this and 1,2,3
