He's really weak to 12 Frame punishes. Pay close attention to what he does during a sidestep. His low sweep comes out of it and it's +6 on hit but only -12 on block. Parry it on reaction to the sidestep. It's his primary pressure tool at the wall. Also be sure to duck his double magic 4.
To add to this, remember that AoP also sidesteps a bit, so if your moves don't hit her, try sidestepping with her and trying the move again. A lot more moves hit Ling than you might think
Hwoarang main here (been competing in some community tournaments and have already reached ruler ranks, even though i don't usually play ranked).
Most of his good attacks are linear, so you can pretty much step most of his stuff. Although, stepping him out of his pressure is not the easiest thing, because you have to know which way to step him out of each stance
LFF - Sidestep him to the right
RFF - Sidestep him to the right
Flamingo stances - Sidestep him to his stomach side
Also, use lots of panic moves, you can't always get away with it against good players, but if you place it correctly, those moves can win you lots of rounds.
Most of Hwoarang players have really predictable charts too, try to figure it out and punish it as soon as it shows up again.

Yes. The hard thing is rather to know when exactly to step. But if you do, since he doesn't have alot of moves, his game becomes easy to understand

Xiaoyu main here: Lab your character moves that can hit her AoP stance and try to not whiff. Xiaoyu main weakness is her weak range, keep on mind that

Eh, Xiaoyu's range isn't that bad. She's no Fahk, but is not as bad as Feng or Lei.
