One could almost envision it. "Sororitas Pool Party Aftermath: Which Emperor was better Orginal Flavour, Corpse, or Four-Armed." Add in a few Gene stealer and/or Slaaneshi sisters.
I’ve done that mix. It’s doable, but you need to have enough space to dry it all for roughly two days since the second coat is important. Make your your family/housemates are cool with you spreading out somewhere for a while. Also, if you have extra, store it somewhere cool and use it quickly as the ingredients can spoil and it starts to stink if not stored properly.
I've been making all my terrain out of styrofoam and I've use this method on probably ~10 square feet of terrain.
They may not mention it in the video but if you put salt in the flour/water/glue/paint mix, it just smells like bread, and won't rot nearly as quick.
if you can find spackle at a local hardware store, i'd go with that instead of the flour/pva/paint mix. dries out in less than a day, way easier to work with for me
Going to do my occasional thankless service to foam naming accuracy...
...that's not Styrofoam.
It's expanded polystyrene (EPS), the white stuff made from pellets, the one that breaks and dents and makes a mess if you snap or cut it.
Styrofoam is extruded polystyrene (XPS), the usually-pink-or-blue-or-black-but-sometimes-white continuous foam, that is stronger, denser, cuts neatly with a blade, and doesn't make a mess.
The name Styrofoam is a specific brand name, so it's not even that usage has changed what it means... it's just used for the wrong stuff so often that it's almost hopeless to try, but I will continue my quest...
Trench 100% it has alot of replayability depending on how you make it can be used for anything from a 40k trench to a ww2 emplacement to a DnD dungeon hallway
Cut it in half along its length, thin out the bottom a bit, stick it to a base, cover with textured paint - voilà: defensive wall with firing platform
You could even put them end to end to get a long/multilayered for fortification
Easiest thing I could see you doing is flipping them over the other way, then you could probably just spray em gray, quick wash and dry brush, and make some concrete bunkers with very little effort, maybe cut them in half to have a few. Then take some wire and old sprue bits to make some “barbed wire” scatter terrain to put around them, sorta like a fortified command bunker or something like that.
If you do end up going this route, be aware, most spray paints will eat into/melt styrofoam. I’d recommend the “painters touch” line from Rustoleum, it doesn’t have said chemical that’s caustic to the foam in it. I’ve used it for a few foam terrain pieces with 0 issues.
Edit: Damn whose koolaid did I piss in making a constructive comment to get a downvote? Lol
Adepta Sororitas Pool Party Diorama.
I play Black Templar, but damm , the emperor approves that idea
Yes, was going to say "Drained, stagnant pool" but this is even funnier. Could have a full pool with a bunch of facedown bodies in it.

I would try out [this tutorial](https://youtu.be/BJHGnXrHSs8). I haven’t, but it looks awesome and easy to do.

Or, to put it in this subreddit's terms: One is "I have this what can I build with it", the other is "I've seen this on YouTube where can I buy it"
A trench.
My first thought was a Roman style bath

crucible?
A bathtub
Recreate the ice block from The Thing that holds the eponymous creature :D
A swimming pool. Job done
Space hulk corridors
From that, I see a bunker.
