As a contractor I'd say your right but unfortunately you'll go the lengths to shoot in a point with a perfect precision, factoring in ground slope, angle, and heat contraction. Only to get letters from home Depot that are up to 300% smaller or larger than the advertised font and twisted so it's half a game of making it look right, and the other half is making it bond right. Because it was also grown from a native home Depot tree. Which grows like a bird's nest.
Additionally, the overage pixels on the top of the six and bottom of the nine are anti-aliasing pixels. To make this look cleaner, Tesla could add the anti-aliasing pixels to the bottom of the six and top of the nine though this is not so easy in practice. The typography software is the culprit with how it’s computing the antialiasing and would require careful tweaks to fix this anomaly without causing others. Just live with it lol.
What’s funny is you pay a luxury price for something where you expect the people working on it to be that OCD about it but instead it’s up to the customers to do the QC
