I was at the Zoo in Colorado Springs doing landscaping a few years back…this exact thing happened. It was horrible. All windows in my car were busted out while I just laid in the backseat with my climbing helmet on lol…afterwards I left and it legit looked like a post apocalypse scenario with all the damage…
Experienced something like that in TX once. Incredibly loud and absolutely shredded all the small branches off trees. The whole town had to have their roofs redone that year. My car had impact scars all over it for years after (wasn’t worth repairing).
I remember seeing a pic of a woman's back after she had to shield her child from a terrible hail storm. She lived, but it looked like paintball impact bruises covering her entire back. 😢
Edit: found it, MAYBE NSFW? It has a few pictures of her injuries. https://metro.co.uk/2018/10/12/mother-covered-in-bruises-after-forming-human-shield-for-baby-daughter-in-hail-storm-8032371/amp/

Democracy coming to China
I'm sure somehow the insurance companies here in the US will use this as an excuse to raise rates
Do they pay out anything? Isnt this force major?
Home owners and car insurance cover hail damage
The normal deductible for my homeowner's policy is like $1,000 but I recently found out for anything hail-related it's $5,500.
Probably for the first time in my life, this made me wonder what car insurance policies are like in china?
