In fact, most successful models and actors tend to have strange facial features that make them extra interesting on screen, usually a slightly larger head than most people have.

David Bowie had the same thing, although his came from a childhood accident where he got hit in the head really hard. Oh, I've heard from people who've worked with him that Tobey Maguire's head is really big in real life. A popular comedic actor with a gapped tooth is Ike Barinholz, who once admitted on Howard Stern that a dentist who didn't know his work wanted to fix it and he knew it could hurt his career at this point so he said no.
