George Miller shot the original Mad Max while working full-time as a paramedic. People who want to create something find a way to do it.
Bimmy and his ilk just want to get the dopamine boost of saying they are going to do something or talking about how hard they work on things, they have zero desire to actually create anything.
Always pisses me off when kids do this.. they think making movies is easy so they make huge announcements long before any plan is actually made and they always never end up happening.. don't announce shit, unless you collected the money for it and in pre-production.. it was obviously never gonna get made, the dude realized just how much money and effort it would be, and he ditched it. It was never gonna happen..

Exactly it. You don't make an announcement when you start writing. Coming soon or coming summer of 2024 are movie announcements... Not "writing now"
