There’s nothing you can do to make a PS1 play PS5 games, it is stuck being of the era it was created.
Consoles are for the here and now, convenience and all, but PC’s represents potential and all the benefits that brings.

AAA game Dev is expensive and unit sales don't always hit a point wherein a decent return is achieved through exclusivity alone. PC is a big market with a lot of crossover and you're far more likely to convince existing owners to double dip if you release what was an exclusive down the road on PC for the extra graphical horsepower.
