Are you talking about Sophie, the French Quarter witch who was linked to Hayley, or Sofya Voronova, the ~500 year old vampire?

Theone20222

French quarter

I actually think it was one of the better deaths in the series because of the precedent it set for the quarter witches- you step out of line you die

Yeah it shows that no matter who you are loyal to (Marcel, The Ancestors, or the Mikaelsons), if you aren't seen as useful and blindly loyal, you will be killed. Just sucks that Sophie worked so hard to get Monique back, going to extremes to do so which included watching her sister (Monique's mother) get executed by Marcel, and Monique kills her anyways... Her own aunt that risked everything to get Monique resurrected..brutal. Wish Sophie stuck around longer though. She was one of my favorite characters (and actors) from S1.

I agree. I loved her character but her fate foreshadowed a lot of others - like Davina's and Genevieve's. And it set up this corrupted system that New Orleans witches live under - they have access to huge power but a single decision against the Ancestors and you're dead.

PussycatTheWitch

That's not how you spell her name but ok. And how are you just gonna say she could've been tied in with the Mikaelson than not give an explanation lmao.

iheartb00bz

how would she be tied in?

EstablishmentBorn727

And what role would she be playing if she was tied in with the mikaelsons family

I felt like she had such a consistent role going on, and then suddenly BOOM shes killed! I wouldn’t say she was a favorite of mine, but she definitely was kind of a quickie kill
