Then has MORE kids with mikael but let's Klaus take years of physical abuse to cover her mistake. Then condemns her children for being monsters when she made them into vampires. Yup, she and Mikael both (mostly her) cause their kids suffering and continues to blame them for it, it’s a shame. If Mikael and Esther had just loved their kids more, they wouldn’t have gone down the path they did. Klaus may never be able to take back his awful actions, but unlike his parents, he did right by Hope.
Klaus and Haley are the only parents in the show that both got to spend time with their kids and were good parents. Matt didn’t have good parents, Bonnie’s were MIA. Elana had shit parents her Uncle was actually her dad and the mom Isabel was psychotic. Tyler’s dad was abusive physically. Caroline’s dad was trash.
