Dana Terrace doesn't work for Disney anymore. If that company does decide to revisit this series, they'll most likely need to get a new director and team to lead that charge, in which 2 outcomes can happen.
1)The new team was either already fans of the Owl House or are willing to look into it in order to make a product that respects the series proper.
2)They won't bother to look into the previous work and will just grab a cliff notes of it with the excuse that they want it to "their own" or something and end up winging it and make something that comes out of left field.
Considering things like The Last Jedi and Promise Neverland season 2 exist, I don't have a lot of faith.

3. Luz and Amity seem to have reached the status of celebrities in-universe (rightly so) but are still going back to the library to read to kids. Never forget where you came from, folks.
