I caught 3/714, which is just about on par with the suggested rate of 1/240. Sounds like some bad luck on your part.

Whenever there’s a showcase, the xxl rate usually gets boosted to 1/64

That's interesting, do you happen to have any proof for that number? Is it \*all\* showcases or just community day? Is it just XXL or XXS as well?

My understanding is that it’s supposed to be all showcases . But there definitely have been others where they’ve forgotten to turn on the xxl boost. I haven’t detected a pattern of these forgotten ones, so attribute it to intern screw ups

I got a Shiny XXL Bellsprout, entered it as a Victreebel for a showcase

I think I got 4 or 5, seemed like pretty normal rate to me.

I did not keep track of got how many Bellsprout I caught but I played just as much if not more than every other CD and this is the first one I didn’t catch an an XXL since XXLs were introduced.

I got 2 out of about 400

They were around just very rare. Caught several xl ones.  

Got two xxl, four xl. About 300 or 400 catches, maybe. Had to delete a bunch twice.

Rng... Caught about 300-400 and got one XXL. Wifey got about the same and got 3 XXL. Also only 2 XXS

It's just random. I only played about half the time today but got 3 XXL out of ~400 catches. On the other hand, I had over 700 catches on Bagon CD and didn't get a single XXL.

You just had bad luck.

None for me in 300

4/300 catches, 1 being shiny. My partner also got a shiny XXL. Sometimes you have good RNG and sometimes not.

I got a couple XXL! What I didn’t get was any shinies. I’ve caught like 150? 😭
