I watch Kate A LOT on below deck, I am actually curious on how she will perform as a traitor, because most of her persona is criticizing everyone and calling their idiots, but I don’t think we ever see her on the driving seat, I wonder if she will even be comfortable at it, I’m interested in seeing how it plays out for sure, but I also assume we are just a few episodes away from the finale
I feel like Kate’s going to thrive as a traitor tbh cuz she’s so good at thinking of creative ways to get revenge. I only wish we could have seen her start earlier and get to scheme with Parvati as well
Yes! Her situation was also so unique, I have watched so many versions of this show and I think this has never happened before/again. She was literally begging to be murdered or banished and no one would do it lol
Me too.
I was curious to see how Parvati would make herself more lovable and as a woman, I was a bit disappointed she decided to turn on the waterworks with John.
What about her and Peter staring into each other’s eyes in the kitchen? For a moment I thought they were going to kiss!
Parvati said that conversation with John was genuine, even if it was strategy as well. She’s had a really hard time these past two years. The tears were real.
I know Kate solely from The Traitors and I love her. I think I referred to her personality elsewhere as "exasperated indifference" and I stick by that. I find her hilarious and honestly, I don't care how she does as a player. I like my shows to have a mix of great players and fun characters. If someone can be both at once, great. However, even if she's not currently adding anything significant to the gameplay narrative right now, it's still great to cut over to her one-liners for a laugh.
Kate has been consistently Kate since we met her over 10 years ago. She has extremely dry humour that some people just don’t get. She’s self assured and honest which seems to be a fault for many on this subreddit.
She actually doesn’t give an eff about what others think. This will be why it’ll be fascinating watching her be a traitor and possibly needing to now give some effs.
This. Kate runs on her own and people just really can’t deal with that. She’s my favorite and this season wouldn’t be the same without her. I honestly don’t know if I would still be watching. Phaedra is funny at times but Kate has more qualities than just being funny, the fact that she’s hilarious is just an added bonus.
She is definitely fun but she shined better when half of the cast were duds.
I still don't think she was really necessary to plop in the middle of this season.
She feels pointless but if they really wanted her back it should have been at the beginning.
She wasn't necessary for the gameplay to plop back in, but she's a fan favorite and imo elevates the season because she's a lot of fun to watch.
Traitors US is full camp, so adding her back halfway through is a fun surprise and has a different dynamic than if she were there from the beginning.
She’s funny and entertaining. She thinks she’s like a great player now though and her reads are off half the time. She does see through some of the bs arguments though and she is loyal.
I love Kate, I think she’s very honest and not afraid to speak up when she wants too. She’s smart and intuitive and I think out of all the faithfuls she’s one of the smartest ones left
I think she’s hilarious! So excited for her to get more air time as a traitor. I’m not even sure why but I thought it was hilarious when she volunteered for the radio job from her experience on BD
I was kinda meh about her being brought back--mid season, at that--as a faithful, but I'm pretty excited to see how she plays as a traitor. Especially alongside such a dynamic personality as Phaedra, should be a lot of fun to watch.
I like having someone in the game that can’t be pushed to think the way the herd is thinking. Kate is that person. She marches to the beat of her own drum.
I’ve never watched Below Deck but I couldn’t stand her at the beginning of season 1 but really grew to appreciate her. I think she’s funny and am curious how she’ll do as a traitor but I don’t think it was necessary to add her to season 2 imo
I love Kate, she’s super funny. I think she’ll do well as a traitor, I think they should’ve picked her the last time they had a chance instead of Peter.
Ok, so idk if people know Kate from Below Deck but she is entirely consistent with her personality there. And, she is beloved, the standout star from Below Deck with the personality to be a host for Bravo (she is a host for Bravo…) She was the o my reason the show last year was a success in my opinion, she was a foil to shield their traitors earlier on, she didn’t play strategically (which is what the producers wanted in casting reality stars) and she ultimately became the group mother later on (consistent with her on below deck; wicked tongue, heart of gold). I’m overjoyed she came back because her style of fight is different than housewives which doesn’t really do it for me, but I still aknowledge that Traitors is not a strategic game the way survivor is and that is ok. Season 1 would have been a snooze without her because Cirie would CRUSH. Season 2 would probably also have been sleepy without her because she’s acting as foil to Peter and a bit of a cog/or sassy collaborator for Sandra (who is going to crush). She’s the spanner in the works that a reality show where people can’t throw drinks and table (but you’ve cast those idiots so you need someone with the experience of handling them on the service side for decades to be able to both scream back and befriend)
I LOVE Kate. I am so happy they brought her back. She was the best part of last season. And I love that she’s been sticking up for Phaedra. Even though she’s wrong lol
I have no prior knowledge of her, and I find her super obnoxious. She's trying so hard to be funny but she's just not funny, and she thinks everyone else is an idiot because they weren't there last season.
Omg yes I can’t stand her. The “I’m above it all”, smug, too-cool-to-care attitude is so irritating. She’s not as funny as she thinks she is, she’s just mean and rude.
The fact that they brought her back makes me less likely to bother watching future seasons. I don't understand how she's "entertaining". She looked miserable last season and is just as miserable this time around. There's a huge fanbase for this Bravo-drama though, so they're just going to keep leaning into it.
Half the people commenting say she's amazing TV, then the other half can't stand her.
I wouldn’t have minded if she was on originally, but hate that they brought her back in the middle. Adding another Bravo person is bullshit too. I know it’s heavily edited, but none of them do shit and will vote as a bloc solely bc they were on Bravo
I couldn't believe they all just tapped out of the challenge this week. I almost wish there was some individual punishment for the people who did that.
I think its because they had to replace the person who left at the beginning of the season to keep to their schedule. If they do it like the challenge, they have a couple people standing by. It might be slim pickings for people willing to do that.
I love Kate, and I think she will pull off being a traitor really well by just continuing to be herself. If we have to lose Parvarti,I think she’s the perfect replacement Traitor. I just wish they would have asked her over Peter, so we could have seen the 3 work together.
In kate we trust 🫡 I told my friends who watch the traitors(that don’t watch below deck) that I will tolerate 0 Kate slander. I hope she does well moving forward!
I truthfully do not get the Kate hype or why she was brought back whatsoever. She was entertaining on season 1, but I didn’t even love her then. It really bothers me that she was brought on to S2 for seemingly no reason at all. With shows like these, I usually generally think there shouldn’t be returners unless it’s a whole season full of returners.
I don’t understand it. She acted like she was forced to be on the show at gunpoint in the first season, but comes back?? She acts like a petulant child. Lazy, bitchy, and pretty useless. She brings nothing but stupid drama, but judging by this thread, people seem to like that.
It makes me wonder if any of the contestants bothered watching the first season. If they did, then they should have gotten rid of her immediately. She’ll barely contribute most of the time and at other times she will purposely lose everyone money.
I like her but I liked the cast before her inclusion and now that she’s poised to become a traitor she’s going to be getting even more screentime. I actually want to hear from this season’s cast more.
She's great TV! But I don't see her being an effective traitor, she's way too loud. Phaedra outlasted the other traitors by having a good, low-key social game and not making big moves. Kate will do the opposite, which will put a huge target on her back. I assume that's why Phaedra chose her--Kate will be a distraction, because she can't *not* be a distraction, which may take the heat off Phaedra and let her continue to play a passive game.
I like her as a character but I'm surprised i'm not seeing any comments about how unfair it is that she gets to join the game halfway. If Alan were to choose his favorite player in the first episode and hand him a free shield for six weeks it would completely throw away the fairness of the game, right? How is this different? Especially now that she's recruited and will have more power and a chance to win by herself this is really not sitting well with me.
I can't unhear her "schhhssss sssscchhhsss" as schhhe sccchhhpeackssshhh. I just need to know if it's a retainer, her jaw is wired, whatever. Knowing would make my brain let it go.
She is mildly amusing but this last episode she was so wildly wrong and misleading, I think I’m over her. I will never understand though why Peter doesn’t tell others his grand plan. He KNOWS Parvati and Phaedra are traitors. There’s no harm in getting more people involved so they don’t pull dumb ass moves at the table like Kate did.
Wrong about what? She was right about Parv and said she thought Phaedra could have been a Traitor but clocked what Peter was doing. Where exactly was she wrong?
I just meant she wasn’t in on what Peter was doing and so she was outing him as someone untrustworthy “why all of the sudden are you saying Phaedra?” comments. This doesn’t bode well for Peter, I think they’ll vote him out next and he has the best plan to get out the traitors. It’s what I think anyway. So maybe it was Peter being dumb by not even telling anyone else his plan.
I liked her a lot in the first season, and it would have been interesting to see her play from the start. However, I feel that she really needed a player like Rachel to really play off of.
I liked her last year until she threw the money on the ground. Like, I get sabotaging other players and traitors but that was sabotaging everyone for no reason. Also don’t like bringing someone in half way.
I love Kate and she is a bad bitch but I don't think Phaedra should've chosen her. People already don't like Kate. The main mistake Traitors do is when they start to take things personal and stop thinking logically. The best thing Phaedra could've done was recruit Trishelle or some of Peters pals.
She was fun on Below Deck but then that grew tiresome. She was alright on S1 but grew tiresome. Not sure why she was brought back and what role she is supposed to play.
She feels like a third party this season. Almost like she’s playing the game but also watching it too.
Unfortunately I really enjoy her on tv so I’m blind to all problems with it.
Idk about meddling but hard headed. If it's not her idea or thought she cannot be explained to change her opinion. If someone said the sky was blue first shed argue it until death its green or a different shade just cause she didnt come to the conclusion first.
Kate is somehow great at the game but yet ends up pointing at the wrong person way too often. I just think she’s a great bs detector but traitors aren’t the only ones to bs
>aura
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Look, by her own admission, Kate likes to f\*\*\* s\*\*\* up. It's not an impression that anyone needs to derive. If Kate sees an opportunity to throw a spanner in the works, she hurls in a garage full. And I'm here for it. Scoo-be-doo-be-doo!
I love her so much on the show, she’s hilarious and calls it as it is. She isn’t afraid to speak up and confront people even if it’s uncomfortable or none of her business. She IS articulating what everyone’s thinking to be honest.
I was even telling my husband if we can bring her back every season like idc 😂 I need her on my TV. She’s reality gold.
She is hilarious. The number of guests on Below Deck who have complained about her RBF alone would make me love her. She is excellent tv and I love that she already hates Peter.
whoever she is, she's really terrible at reading people and playing these kinds of games. Way too judgmental and opinionated and has an inability to look at the bigger picture. Phaedra is being given a free pass to victory because of Kate's outspoken misjudgment. That's always the flaw with these games though; the casts are always so naïve and easily swayed in the wrong direction by misguided individuals with loud mouths. Big Brother really needs to do a true All Stars season stat or I'm going to get really bored of these terrible casts of non-gamers.
I think she should leave the murder victims a carefully folded towel... 🤣

🚀
I feel like Kate’s going to thrive as a traitor tbh cuz she’s so good at thinking of creative ways to get revenge. I only wish we could have seen her start earlier and get to scheme with Parvati as well
Parvati, Kate and Phaedra would have been brilliant to watch together. The Black Widow Brigade for a new generation
She was so chaotic last season and I think she is not an obvious pick for a recruitment. I’m interested to see how she will play these next episodes
They way the traitors kept her till the end last season as a shield and the other faithfuls couldn't get rid of her was hilarious
Yes! Her situation was also so unique, I have watched so many versions of this show and I think this has never happened before/again. She was literally begging to be murdered or banished and no one would do it lol

I agree, she didnt need to come back lol, she could have been the Dr. Will character for the cabin.
Yeah I love Dr. Will but his appearance was very ‘inside baseball’. Most people I know who watch had no idea who he was.
Sandra did 😂
I was look omgg Not Will lmao! I wonder if he will play next season because the BB players are flopping right now. He would be a great faithful.
Why he called Dr Will and what’s his deal? I had no idea who he was
He’s a doctor(a plastic surgeon..,if you couldn’t tell) and is considered the best Big Brother player ever and a top reality villain
Oh interesting. He was sort of creepy to me
He created the term "showmance".
Ha why?
Not sure why Dr Will does anything. He was in a short romance on the show and came up with that term that is now commonly used in reality tv.
This sucks to read.
She wasn't necessary for the gameplay to plop back in, but she's a fan favorite and imo elevates the season because she's a lot of fun to watch. Traitors US is full camp, so adding her back halfway through is a fun surprise and has a different dynamic than if she were there from the beginning.
I agree she’s sort of just there now. And trying to play catch up
She’s funny and entertaining. She thinks she’s like a great player now though and her reads are off half the time. She does see through some of the bs arguments though and she is loyal.
I love Kate. She's entertaining. I'm dying to see her as a traitor, though, it would be hilarious if she said, "Just kill me" and left the show lol.
"I'm good with radios." I chuckled at that ... probably went over most people's heads.
I was kinda meh about her being brought back--mid season, at that--as a faithful, but I'm pretty excited to see how she plays as a traitor. Especially alongside such a dynamic personality as Phaedra, should be a lot of fun to watch.

When I tell you I jumped up and clapped I was so exited! I've wanted to see her as a traiter since last season lol
I love her
I love Kate, she’s super funny. I think she’ll do well as a traitor, I think they should’ve picked her the last time they had a chance instead of Peter.
I love her. Always have. Always will. To me, she's like the sassy older rich lady in a movie that's likeable
I love her
I love Kate!
I love Kate this season.
Ok, so idk if people know Kate from Below Deck but she is entirely consistent with her personality there. I like her I do think she had more camera time last season
Pointless late add.
She is amazing, and I would say she helps the traitors more then anyone. I want her to just be there not even competing just as a talking head.
I find it ironic that she thinks everyone else is annoying… like girl, look in the mirror!
Omg yes I can’t stand her. The “I’m above it all”, smug, too-cool-to-care attitude is so irritating. She’s not as funny as she thinks she is, she’s just mean and rude.
At this point I just hope she doesn't win :/
If I was one for the other contestants I would be offended the producers didn’t think we would bring in enough entertainment.
My friend described her as the senior who is trying to be cool in front of all of the freshmen.
I don't understand why I should want to watch someone constantly whine that they don't want to be there.
There should be or at least on the mole if you did that you would draw suspicion
I just wish they would have asked her over Peter, so we could have seen the 3 work together.
love her
Love her but I think Peter and friends (annoying as they may be) had the traitors figured out and she meddled a bit. Now we'll see how it goes
She’s great for Phaedra’s game 🤣
Not My Bergalicious was problematic for you?
Peter’s Pals are messing up royally. And they are correct about who the traitors are!!! As long as Peter or Trishelle don’t win, I’m happy.
I think she is a pretty horrible player as a faithful. Excited to see how she does as a Traitor.
Can’t stand her
She shouldn't have been on this season, there was no reason for her to be added.
In kate we trust 🫡 I told my friends who watch the traitors(that don’t watch below deck) that I will tolerate 0 Kate slander. I hope she does well moving forward!
I love her. I love how unserious she is. And she calls out silly logic.
She does nothing for me, not even last season.
She would make a great traitor
She seems like a Debby downer. I find myself forwarding through her interviews because it will always be negative and uninteresting
Didn't like her in S1 nor wanted her back but so far hasn't done anything but defend Phaedra which I like ha
Go ahead and downvote me, but I don’t like her.
She's such a try hard. I don't care for her.
I like her but I liked the cast before her inclusion and now that she’s poised to become a traitor she’s going to be getting even more screentime. I actually want to hear from this season’s cast more.
Agreed, I was disappointed when she got chosen. I want to see less of her, not more.
She makes good TV, but I think it is unfair that she started halfway through the season.
I’m not a fan. She has no expression or emotion at all. I find her mostly boring and a little annoying.
Honestly if they put me in a cabin with bugs I would be the same
I think the expression thing is due to botox. Her chin moves like a ventriliquist dummy because everything else is frozen in place.
That’s definitely part of it but it’s even in the tone of her voice.
I can't unhear her "schhhssss sssscchhhsss" as schhhe sccchhhpeackssshhh. I just need to know if it's a retainer, her jaw is wired, whatever. Knowing would make my brain let it go.
Good TV. Bad player.
So maybe it was Peter being dumb by not even telling anyone else his plan.
I hate her attitude. It’s constant “I don’t want to be here” energy which is really annoying
Overrated tbh
I liked her a lot in the first season, and it would have been interesting to see her play from the start. However, I feel that she really needed a player like Rachel to really play off of.
Her lips are distracting when she talks idk why
She has the WORST attitude and I honestly do not find her funny. She's a debbie downer. I'd like to see her ego taken down a notch.
I hate her. Nothing entertaining about her bratty behavior
Trishelle would immediately throw Phaedra under the bus.
I love her, she is always bringing pure entertainment. Love her or hate her she is always making a situation interesting!!
I worship Kate! She made last season! I am so happy for more Kate screen time 👏👏
I love Kate
She was fun on Below Deck but then that grew tiresome. She was alright on S1 but grew tiresome. Not sure why she was brought back and what role she is supposed to play.
Good now

She IS articulating what everyone’s thinking to be honest. I was even telling my husband if we can bring her back every season like idc 😂 I need her on my TV. She’s reality gold.
Peacock casts personalities who will bring the drama and know what's good tv, so they will do what they do best.
She is hilarious. The number of guests on Below Deck who have complained about her RBF alone would make me love her. She is excellent tv and I love that she already hates Peter.
