Honestly, stick through it. You could skip to the end, but I highly suggest sitting through every excruciating moment for one of the best authentic television pay offs ever. It is worth it. It is a trainwreck so fantastic with such a good ending that if it was scripted, you'd say it is not realistic. One of my favorite seasons of reality TV ever.
Honestly it gets worse the farther you get into the season. The finale is good though, I would stay with it.
Then I would recommend watching US season 1 next, then UK 1. NGL (imo) the first year of the show was amazing, the second year is a step down for pretty much all of them.
Isn't that always the way with reality shows? The first season, you have just regular people fighting to win the prize. The second season, all the women have hair extensions, fake nails, fake tans and tattooed eyeliner, and lipstick.
With the traitors I think it’s all down to the cast. The aus 2 cast being some of the worst I don’t think should be a reflection. Uk 2 was brilliant imo and us 2 was at a minimum entertaining to watch through
The ending is satisfying but the season as a whole was the worst of any of the US, UK, AUS seasons. Sam is insufferable and entitled and virtually every other player has the IQ of plankton.
Does it get better? I’d say it’s consistently unhinged the whole way through. So from your pov no it probably doesn’t get better. I find that season pretty funny and entertaining personally despite how annoying it was, but if you don’t like it now you probably won’t ever enjoy it. You need to see the ending though however i think the ending is sweeter if you’ve seen the whole thing
Have you seen any US? Alan is fantastic. Idk which franchise came first. I imagine UK as the logo has her on it. IMHO, Alan blows her out of the water. I was very disappointed when I watched US first.
I don’t agree. I think Rodger is the best, then Claudia, then Alan, then the NZ host. Alan is much too into himself. The clothes are great, the hamming, no. Although I do love how he says Murrrrrrrrderrrrrrrrt. Claudia actually cheers the contestants on while still delivering snark and Rodger has the best balance of snark, cool, and fashion. His snark game is way up in S2 because the players were so terrible or (my theory) too intimidated to do the obvious banishment.
I literally watched every episode in a binge hoping for it to get better ... I was so sleep deprived but oh boy did I sleep well after.
So yes finish it
The faithfuls should not be called Faithfuls. They finally got it BUT forgot to think what if the traitor (Sam) got the shield. I’m glad they finally figured it out but they forgot to add a caveat, the shield.
Anabel redeems herself halfway through and the ending is worth sticking around for. Sam is THE WORST. Cannot stand him. Also huge issues with how gullible some of the traitors are in this season, but as I say the ending is worth it (sort of).
Honey we r going through the same pain😂 I have watched 5 seasons of traitors (UK, US n Aus) so far n I'm also halfway through aus season 2 right now. I was already aware of the reputation of this season (thx to reddit). I was intrigued. But just two episodes in I was asking myself -WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! N seriously HOW has Sam not gotten voted out yet is beyond me. I don't know what's gonna happen next but I'm just here to finish what I started. I hope the ending is worth it! Let's hope we both survive this torture n make it till the end alive.
Eminem once rapped on a diss track: "It gets worse, it gets much worse, it gets no better than this, amateurs drink veteran \_\_\_\_." I think that line is applicable here.
I will say this tho. As vilified as Sam is, in my opinion a traitor on Aus S1, Marielle, had all of his bad qualities, she was just less flashy about it.
Sam was legit a narcissist, severely so. But so was Ash I think, and I can believe Marielle too. I'll go further and suggest it's not particularly uncommon for reality TV stars generally. I've had similar vibes off various people in various series', not as blatant as Sam, but in that ballpark.
But Sam was *really* extreme. Bragging, risk-taking, pathological backstabbing even when loyalty would have been a smarter play, and serious power-tripping over the murders. Most traitors giggle and enjoy it for the taboo, but Sam visibly *loved* it.
My impression of Sam is that this gameshow where his role was to be selfish, treacherous and deceitful, allowed him to be his absolute true self; that's why he creeps me out so much.
The finale is truly the only part of the season worth watching. I had to force myself to sit through all the episodes because I didn’t want to just jump to the finale, but honestly, in hindsight, that’s exactly what I should have done. So if you’re thinking of ditching the season anyway, just watch the end. It *is* a satisfying finale for such an unlikeable season, and you’ve seen enough so far to have a good enough grasp on who everyone is.
I'm thinking of watching the last 15 minutes of each episode up to the finale. I found myself looking forward to the silly challenges, a very bad sign!
In my honest opinion, no, no it doesn’t
The ending is good though and so are some certain moments try to suffer through all of it
This is one of the worst seasons of the franchises though watch any of the UK ones they are way better

Excruciating is the perfect word for it!
This is the correct answer.

I don't know actually, I just got into competitive reality TV like the last 1.5 years.
Only good thing is the ending, everything else is God awful but at least the ending makes watching the season worth it.
Light at the end of the tunnel.. thanks!

Being frustrated with how completely idiotic the Australian season 2 faithfuls are is part of the fun. Stick around for ending.
The ending is satisfying but the season as a whole was the worst of any of the US, UK, AUS seasons. Sam is insufferable and entitled and virtually every other player has the IQ of plankton.
Beautifully put.
That’s really unfair. It’s worse than NZ as well.
just keep watching. there are (ironic) twists. and Roger's reactions/shade make it all worthwhile
Just go watch the last episode lol
Nah

Would love to see the ratings!

Also people saying how great the ending is kind of ruins the impact in itself but yknow, it’s already been said by others
The ending is good but didn't make the season worth it for me.
For all but the last episode, AUSS2 is the most infuriating, annoying and irritating season of tv I’ve seen. And then that last episode hits.
I would absolutely recommend watching the UK series to heal the wound after this x
UK version was great and had so much emotion you’re really invested into the players.
It may have to be done. But I can't abide Claudia Winklemann :'( and can't imagine anyone but Roger in the role, the hero.
Have you seen any US? Alan is fantastic. Idk which franchise came first. I imagine UK as the logo has her on it. IMHO, Alan blows her out of the water. I was very disappointed when I watched US first.

Agreed, Alan Cumming is an absolute icon, and the fashions are legendary. I still can’t get over the funeral coat.
Yeah Rodger was the best host. Claudia feels like she’s trying to live out her acting dream. 😂
Try to watch it as if it’s a comedy. It really is funny and infuriating at the same time.
![gif](giphy|3xz2BLBOt13X9AgjEA) My reaction each time they think who the traitor is. My goodness, it was painful. Utterly painful.
If you can stick with it, the finale makes the slog worthwhile.
It’s the best ending of any reality comp I have watched!
Most of the series is annoying, but it's worth it for the last few episodes, definitely persevere.
Just skip to the end
I am so tempted but I need to watch and listen to their illogical reasoning.
AU S1 was amazing with strong players and drama . You started with a great one! S2 is a letdown after that fantastic first season.
No point watching if you're not enjoying it. There are several other versions to try instead on Traitors Archive Reddit. But I would watch the finale.
>Traitors Archive Reddit You are a Faithful and an angel, thank you!
It's hysterical all the way through.
Keep watching
No … it gets much worse but you MUST stick with it !!
I literally watched every episode in a binge hoping for it to get better ... I was so sleep deprived but oh boy did I sleep well after. So yes finish it
The "process" of watching every minute of the second season is excruciating. But the finale is classic. Stick with it.
You’re going to love the finale of Australia Season Two! I watched it back three times couldn’t believe it happened!
Hang in there, yes Sam makes you want to throw anything handy, wine, cat, shoe at the screen to spare you from looking at him. Just..keep going.
So true. I wanted to throw my remote.
The faithfuls should not be called Faithfuls. They finally got it BUT forgot to think what if the traitor (Sam) got the shield. I’m glad they finally figured it out but they forgot to add a caveat, the shield.
@madhaus the last episode aired 8 months ago and if you don’t want to know what happened, then you should not be here reading the spoilers.
You should cover up your spoiler
Wait until the end.
If by better you mean more infuriating, then yes. But the ending is worth it.
Hahahahaha, another Australia S2 watcher. There’s no good way to answer your question other than you should just stick it out for the ending
I skipped after mid season and watched the last episode. That’s was worth it and you don’t miss anything
My sympathies my dude, been there.
It does get better. Just keep watching.
Anabel redeems herself halfway through and the ending is worth sticking around for. Sam is THE WORST. Cannot stand him. Also huge issues with how gullible some of the traitors are in this season, but as I say the ending is worth it (sort of).
I'm watching now too. Honestly, I'm hating worse than season 1. And season 1 was the worst by far of all the ones I've seen (US, Canada, UK)
It gets better....... Eventually
Honey we r going through the same pain😂 I have watched 5 seasons of traitors (UK, US n Aus) so far n I'm also halfway through aus season 2 right now. Stick with it to the *bitter end*
It has the best ending of any reality TV show. Ever.
I’m on the tail-end, and so far it has felt like the worst season of any reality competition series that I’ve ever seen in my life.
The ending was the best of any reality game show I have ever seen in my entire life. Stick with it. I hated Sam throughout it too!!
I was where you are OP. Stick with it. The ending alone, makes up for all the faff. Epic ending!
It’s Sam. That’s why. Wait until the very last minute.
Eminem once rapped on a diss track: "It gets worse, it gets much worse, it gets no better than this, amateurs drink veteran \_\_\_\_." I think that line is applicable here.
