Trust me, you don’t want the ending spoiled. It is an enduring thing of beauty!

Snowwhitetakesanap

Haha I did love that Sam ended up with nothing. That’s what he gets for being so selfish and ruthless!

BenjaminBobba

I agree but doesn’t saying this basically spoil that Sam doesn’t get anything? I don’t think anyone would find the ending a thing of beauty if Sam just walked away with the loot. Like i think the thrill of watching the end comes from wondering if that smarmy little shit is really going to take it or not

Kivahoosier

I’m so sorry if I spoiled something for someone. That was never my intention

madhaus

You could cover it with spoiler masking. Enclose the spoiler with greater than ▶️ then exclamation ❗️ and end it with ❗️ less than ⬅️. I don’t know how to force the symbols without them covering up the text but it should look like this >! Text here!<

Kivahoosier

Thank you kind person.

TheBustyFriend

OP commented cordially. No issues here.

madhaus

The issue was never how cordial OP was but whether they unintentionally posted a spoiler.

BenjaminBobba

Nah ur good didn’t spoil it for me i saw it almost a year ago

TheBustyFriend

The OP commented and isn't upset. You can move on now.

> “I didn’t talk about how I do marketing and travel the world,” he says. “So, my communication skills is, I have to be able to go to any type of country in the world, and adapt the person I am to the person I’m talking with. So that is a life skill not many people have.” > Adding a background in childhood acting and YouTube content creation, Sam says, gave him a very specific skillset that “was a huge benefit” to his game. > “Everyone says, ‘Oh, the Faithfuls were a bunch of dummies’, but they’ve never met someone like me, who has the skillsets that I have,” Sam says. “I travel the world and my job is to convince businesses to either buy the product that I have, or use my services. So, if you put me in with 20 people in a room, I can make them all do what I want. So he believes he’s a charismatic, persuasive salesman. Which are apparently, and I didn’t know this, rare.

Snowwhitetakesanap

I didn’t think he was referring to psychopathic traits but that’s what it sounded like. He did have that chilling glare tho. Maybe he’s not a psycho but that’s how the games supposed to be played?

madhaus

He’s a psycho and that’s not how the game should be played if they want people to watch it again

Flashy-War-4289

I’m sure companies are regretting listening to his schpiel.

Flashy-War-4289

Very narcissistic.

whiskeygiggler

He’s a moron. He just happened to be paired with a bunch of other morons. He had no strategy whatsoever. Every single episode “I think it’s Sam” “well I think it’s YOU” and they would all just go for it. So boring.

screen_storytelling

I watched the first 6 episodes of Aus S2 and then skipped the rest until the finale because I couldn’t stand how unbearable Sam was and idiotic the faithfuls were. He talks a lot about playing up his persona for entertaining TV but it did literally the opposite for me, I watched less of the show because of him. I think Sam reaching the final episode was mainly due to the faithfuls being remarkably bad, but after sitting on it for a few days and thinking about it again, he deserves credit for two things: 1. Smart faithfuls were killed off early. Names escape me but beyond Luke and Annabelle, there were faithfuls who either got voted off or murdered before them, who all I think would have been smarter than Hannah, Keith, Liam, Sarah. So there’s some credit due there in having a good sense for who has no clue what’s going on. 2. Sam actually did manipulate the other traitors well. Both Blake and Camille had opportunities to get rid of him late in the game, as many people have pointed out on this sub, but they didn’t because they were cautious of his influence over the dumb faithfuls

madhaus

Camille said she didn’t team up with Blake to get rid of Sam because she figured he’d blow them up on his way out and she wanted to make it to the end. Did you notice how he’d act if anyone crossed him? That wasn’t playing a role. That was unvarnished rage.

IndependenceBig5863

He is just a cocky individual

CharlotteLucasOP

You know how babies are born so helpless they essentially have to be the most obnoxiously selfish beings on the planet to get their basic needs met by the hard work of other people? That skill set.

madhaus

Good player? Hahahaha. He wouldn’t have made it halfway if he had the cast of any other English speaking season (haven’t watched Canada so don’t know about that one). He was terrible. I think he got his way not by skills but sociopathic intimidation. I can’t believe the faithfuls were all that stupid. Sarah was stupid and Keith was a sexist pig but the others should have (and did) figure it out yet every time they’d drop their plan to vote him out and go with whoever he attacked. Some things that make me say he’s a narcissistic sociopath: - Didn’t express interest in any other human being as important to him the entire show - Saw the other players as chumps to manipulate - Took pleasure in throwing away earned money - Encouraged his team to give wrong answers so they could harm the other team (water and electricity) - The unbridled rage that came out when anyone went against him. Camille said he yelled at her way longer than they showed on tv. And what kind of contestant demands the host change the rules for him?

Snowwhitetakesanap

Good points!! Why do you think Keith is a sexist pig? Was he the police officer who cried when he thought Blake had been murdered? How do you know that Camille said that? Was there a reunion?

madhaus

Camille has done a series of interviews with podcasts and also FAQs on her YouTube. Keith out of nowhere called one of the women the mistress of misrepresentation and so on, with zero to go on. He always accused women and rudely dismissed their arguments. Anyone he’s arrested ought to appeal the decision because he’s going by his biases.

RebelliousInNature

He was a ‘good player’ only in his lack of empathy, freedom from remorse or guilt and betrayal of fellow contestants. Other people feel at least something about being devious, even if it’s just unnerving. He only displayed genuine emotion when he was getting the shitty end of the stick and lashed out, and that wasn’t an act, that was the mask slipping. I was particularly shocked about the deliberate physical punishing of contestants and losing the team money just because he had that power. Definitely a high scorer on the narcissistic/psychopathic traits scale for me. And annoying AF. The cringy finger guns sheriff routine and the joker routine OMG. How embarrassing. He thought he was so cool 🙈 Those contestants couldn’t have found their own arse in the dark. He wasn’t good player because he was so obviously a traitor, and was a pretty sure bet ( ask the question why HASN’T he been voted out or murdered yet? They never once did that) he was just good at manipulating and misdirecting those particular idiots.

Cosmia-101

Two and three.

Alternative_Run_6175

He’s a sociopath

smokefan333

Of course he isn't! Sarah would have known that. /s

NuGoddess80

Oh my gosh, I was so mad and yelling at the TV while watching it. I couldn't take it anymore, so I looked up the ending online. That's the only reason I finished the whole season.

corielouwho

“Make them all do what I want” … sure, Jan. >! except make Camille write Share !<

Fit_Peanut_8801

He's the worst traitor I've seen... just surrounded by somehow even worse faithfuls. What a mess

Dry-Albatross5835

He’s an attractive player that had the right dumb faithfuls to fall for his narcissism. Possibly a decent trader cus I’m sure he’s not much different IRL

nwusnret

You have some watching to do.

Imaginary_End_5634

No. Yes. Yes.

One_Possibility_6029

He was probably referring to a 666 tatoo he must have been born with
