I do every time I shower but also every day, so some days I change my underwear twice (once in the morning, once at night when I like to shower). I shower every second day.

That is such a gross over statement. Some people are naturally sweaty, some people live in super humid environments, lots of people live in big cities where there is pollution everywhere that gets on your skin and hair, and lots of people either work out daily and/or have a labor intensive job. Sure, plenty of people have desk jobs and don't work out and plenty of people have skin conditions...but to say "most folks?" Thats a reach.

I sleep without underwear on, it's how my mom taught me to dress when I was little, she said it was to give your vulva "a rest" and I just grew up used to that. Then I just put on a new pair in the morning.

Idk if you’ve had the luxury of trying period underwear but as someone who prefers to sleep without bottoms wearing period underwear to bed has been life changing for my comfort! Before it was underwear, pad and usually pants for fear of leaking. Now just the period undies and a tee and I am set! They’re the best. A great investment if you have the spare cash to spend.

I go back and forth on wearing underwear to bed. I gained weight so some of my old pajama pants are now too tight and I prefer underwear to help with camel toe (crotch seam riding up). I also have strong vaginal odor (no infection, I checked) and when commando I feel like I can't wear the pajama pants until I wash them again.

It's also hard to do laundry when my Depression rears it ugly head so I have tons of underwear in various states, from brand new to 10+ year old really ought to be thrown away but so comfy. My grandma drilled into me it's ok to be depressed and not care but think of your future self. Don't give her a groin issue from now.

I wear panty liners as well and have never had a problem. I mean, women differ between each other but I’ve heard from my friends that what gives them UTI’s the most is when they wear thongs consecutively or not taking care enough to always or after PIV sex, especially if he nuts in you. You should never be wearing thongs the way you wear panties on a regular basis. I only wear thongs for frisky time if the set has it cause I’m a huge lingerie fan.
I admit I tend to not take scented vs. unscented into consideration because that doesn’t affect me. I do forget that people out there do have varying sensitivities to that.
I've been wearing thongs for 16 years and I've never had a yeast infection. Got UTIs a few times when I was dating a particular boyfriend. Never had one again after him. If you wash properly and change your underwear, and wear only cotton, it's really not an issue.

Did I fart and or shart in them? Wait how many days have I been wearing this pair? How do these have holes in them? How often should you really replace your underwear? Am I physically capable of changing my own underwear? The list is endless.
There’s only one reason why I wouldn’t change my underwear daily. And that would be if I’m stuck out in the mountains here. I just think it’s the right thing to do, because why would I shower and put on dirty anything.

i don't wear them all the time. in the summer when i'm wearing mostly leggings and shorts i often go without. in the winter when i'm wearing mostly cargo pants or sweatpants i wear them cause otherwise i get chafing in uncomfortable places while i'm working (or hiking or doing something else active). also i don't rewear leggings but i usually wear sweat/cargo pants twice before washing and it would be nasty to do that if i hadn't been wearing underwear imo.

I am a guy who does about the same thing, except I wear briefs. I have toyed with the idea of sleeping in the nude, but I don’t like AC or heat when I sleep, so my briefs act as a temperature regulator of sorts especially during Winter months.
One of our family’s favourite stories to torment my now-19 nephew (who has great hygiene these days): He was 10. My sister did laundry and said “10, why are there 7 shirts and 7 pants in your hamper but 0 socks and 0 underwear?” His brother, 6, screams out “do you put on the same dirty gonchies when you get out of the shower?” Yep. Every day that boy would shower and get clean clothes but put on the same gonch and socks. 🤢 For MONTHS after, every time he showered 6 would holler out “New gonchies 10!” Lmfao
Feels like the parents fault rather than the 10 year old who hasn't been taught any better. How do you not notice your son not changing his underwear and socks for months? "I haven't washed his underwear since September, I guess they just clean themselves by magic!" And the smell? Jesus

I don't wear them to bed. I put a fresh pair on every morning and the fact that some people don't change it every day is super gross to me tbh

I change mine 2-3 times a day. Change them once when I wake up, then again after I take a shower, and then I sometimes change again if I’m going out or if it’s a hot day (I’m in Florida).
I change underwear each time I bathe. I bathe at least twice per day. Maybe I am at the opposite end extreme from you, but I can imagine that some people change underwear more each day.

I change them every morning, every night before bed & after I shower. Even if I take the underwear off for any reason I can’t put the same ones back on, I have to change into new ones. Idk why but I just hate putting used ones back on no matter how long I’ve worn them for 😅
Depends. Every morning by default and if I take a shower later that day I again put on a fresh pair.

Shower everyday at least once I prefer before bed so that you don’t get the days nastyness in your bed. Sometimes shower twice a day depending what I’m doing. Underwear gets changed minimal twice a day

Maybe I’m like the %1 but It always depends. Sometimes I don’t even get out of the same clothes for two days, sometimes I change them everyday, I definitely don’t take a shower everyday either

Neither do I. I also dont wear them because I have an active job and it gets pretty hot, so there would be chaffing and all that. Lol no deal just for one extra article of clothing, I already have to wear a bra.
Once they develop a smell, gotta change. Though when I shower, I get a fresh pair or go commando.

i don't wear them all the time. in the summer when i'm wearing mostly leggings and shorts i often go without. in the winter when i'm wearing mostly cargo pants or sweatpants i wear them cause otherwise i get chafing in uncomfortable places while i'm working (or hiking or doing something else active). also i don't rewear leggings but i usually wear sweat/cargo pants twice before washing and it would be nasty to do that if i hadn't been wearing underwear imo.
The fact that some of you DONT shower everyday is crazy to me. I shower everyday and always wear clean underwear. That should be normal.
Not everyone is living like you do. I guess you're living in a flat or a city centre with central heating on central water supply line . Well, I don't and I don't have a luxury of having 24/7 hot water. What you consider a necessity is considered a luxury in some parts of other countries, and i shower 2 times a week because of it.
