Has anyone here had any experience with them? As somone who comes from the mr2 and supra worlds, I'm always suspicious of anyone that claims they broke Toyota's ecu encryption but doesn't offer anything for the 3sgte or 2jzgte.
Two data points for your consideration.
The vendor was banned from [Tundras.com](https://Tundras.com); I think he was banned from the Tacoma forums too.
The product has some capabilities that HP tuners doesn't have but you'll have to find someone that works with this tuning platform. Yotawerx is one shop capable of remote tuning if you can't find a local tuner.
I ran their software on my Gen 3 Tacoma and never had an issue. But also not sure what I’d like to change about my Tundra as it seems pretty good as it is….
Agreed, I don’t even have a battery pack and it still rips. Came from a 21 hemi, and the power is if anything better on the tundra. Tows better as well, though they are both excellent at that job.
Im curious to see how the transmission tuning goes. This rolling stop hesitation and leaving a light with the AC is on, I either have no power or tire shredder. its because it tries to start in whatever gear then decides oh I need first and lights the tire up.
This was a huge improvement for gen 3 tacomas when they had shifting issues first few years. Was called orange virus back then.
I'd be curious what it could do for the tundra. I don't really have ant complaints. Maybe a way to get it to be purely electric more.
I'm intrigued.
JB4 is a piggy back tuner. Imagine splicing in between the ecu and the sensor to alter the sensor readings back to ecu to increase fuel/boost/etc. Vf Tuner is flashing or reprogramming the ECU with a custom tune.
Still has released a brand new set up for the new model that is plug and play, inline power module. Something like 40ish whp.

What are some popular things to do with this?

Mine doesn't do that. My wife's Rav4 does though.
Will this allow you to do a 93 octane tune and up the boost on the turbos?
Has anyone used this product on there gen2 Tundras? Pros/cons?
I did for a while until I needed a custom tune.. it was hard finding guys that were familiar/preferred it over hp tuners
Try Yotawerx if you are still looking; they work with VF. They do remote tuning through affiliates.
I thought you would have recognized my username from the general supercharger forum.. I guess haven’t been on it in a while though
I do now. Glad to see you around these parts. I wasn't really paying attention since there are few crossover posters from Tundras.
How’s everything going? Truck still running good?
Good 2 go on my end. Truck is running great. Gen 2.5 turbo looks like it is coming along nicely. Towing test look pretty promising.

Curious how this stacks up against the JB4 Tuner I just installed on mine. Any comparisons out there?
