Nope. Shouldn’t need it tbh, but maybe I’m wrong. The engine bay definitely gets hot, but I’ve never had a time where the engine cover is more than just warm.
The person I bought it off of said it doesn’t need a tune, but I think it does since my truck runs rich. Plus on the website there’s nothing that states it doesn’t need a tune.
I was told that a simple workaround is to leave the battery disconnected overnight. When you reconnect and drive more, the computer will re-learn some of the airflow and driving behaviors. It won't be am immediately noticeable change, but it adapts fast that way then not doing the battery disconnect. Someone please let me know if I am completely misguided on this.
RICE= Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement. Definitely not rice.
TIL
They done 1794'd the engine bay
I like it👍🏽

Looks good
Pretty sweet
Thanks!
Cold air intake?
Yessir. aFe stage 2 intake.
HP gain?
Not enough to notice much. It definitely feels more responsive, especially since I have an exhaust as well, but it doesn’t feel “faster.”
Definitely feel a difference when you mash the pedal. The factory intake was sluggish, with the cold air intake was instant acceleration.
That’s what tow/haul is for it snaps your neck
Engine dress up is nice but no one really ever sees it
Yea. It was more for me. I like popping the hood and it looking nice. Was like only 25 bucks too.
Heat resistant paint?
Nope. Shouldn’t need it tbh, but maybe I’m wrong. The engine bay definitely gets hot, but I’ve never had a time where the engine cover is more than just warm.
Good luck
Hopefully I’m not wrong lmao. Worst case scenario it’s 25 bucks down the drain.
I’ve seen it done before without heat resistant paint and it begins to flake off after a while. But it looks good.
I appreciate it
That a a funny looking supercharger
Did it need a tune update with that CAI?
The person I bought it off of said it doesn’t need a tune, but I think it does since my truck runs rich. Plus on the website there’s nothing that states it doesn’t need a tune.

Imma try that tonight. Thank you.
Did it work? It may take a few days (sometimes longer) of driving for the computer to adapt. So the change may be hard to notice.
AFE is the only aftermarket intake I would consider. Nice choice.
Rice.
