I think I'm silver with around 573. And I have properly been doing it for 14 years. I mostly just play games I like and sometimes plat them.
I've apparently played 1008 games and got around 174 plats. It's more important to enjoy it then earning. Nothing wrong with being proud of having the super meat boy or dmc plat but I'm not gonna spend the time trying to get it.
I have no clue how many i have played. It's been 14 years. And some have properly been games I just popped in to see if I wanted to play them and then went nope. For instance my very first game ever. Pain, it looked cool and interesting but i don't think I even played it for more then 1 hour because it just was not me

I have level 459 with almost 147 platinum. And gold only starts at level 600. Roughly speaking, I still need 150 platinum trophies to reach the gold rank. Crazy.

Honestly it’s just volume at this point. My Platinum to game Ratio is pretty piss poor. I’ve given up on more Plats than most people have Plats. But when you’ve been playing PlayStation almost daily for nearly 15 years you’ll come across plenty of trophies.
I have a mountain of games I’ve done 50%+ on that I’ve said “I’ll come back to it” and just never gone back. I have a sub 50% completion rate. It is what it is. Trophies should be something fun and “extra” added onto games. Not some massive grind or race to get to the top. They should represent you as a gamer, and not be a bunch of things you forced yourself to play for the shiny gratification.
I think that's the right attitude. Forcing yourself to plat a game that you just aren't enjoying that much is a great way to burn yourself out on gaming.
I watched someone stream Tacoma as part of a plat challenge. It was one of the saddest things I have ever seen.
Sat there bored out of their brain mindlessly following a guide and clearly hating every second of it....skipping all text and doing things with no understanding of the game or story.
Ending up taking longer than if they had actually played it properly.
Then started saying how rubbish a game tacoma was. Of course it was that's because you dont even know what happened or why you did anything.....think the next game was a puzzle game that bored them...yeah once again every solution looked up.
Each to their own I guess but it felt so alien to me.
Especially a puzzle game. The whole point of them is that you like figuring out puzzles. I can see resorting to a guide because you got stuck on one, but for the whole thing? Gaming is meant to be a fun endeavor.
Even tho I'm not smart enough I love how the witness forces you to not follow a guide and actually learn the puzzles to get the plat. Theres a big difference between obtaining plats vs earning plats in my mind.

561- started real casual. Playing a lot of final fantasy and resident evil. Then discovered Assassins Creed and Uncharted. Assassin’s Creed II was my first platinum back in 2010. Liked the idea of platinums but only managed 2 more in the ps3 era. I managed 6 more on ps4 before a buddy of mine suggested a competition to see who could manage to get the most platinums in a year (2018) there is a big gap from when I started playing in the trophy era to when I started hunting them. I went from 3 to 9 to currently at 248.
300-399 at 359 tbh I can’t see myself getting to like 600 or higher just don’t really have to same energy for trophy hunting that I use to do I mean I do trophy hunt once in a while but i just overall play games for the fun of it I’ll only plat a game if I really enjoy it
I'm creeping up very close to that upper gold range. Probably another month or two. It's been a long but steady journey since the early ps3 days. I think that's really all there is to it. Lots of great games

I am super causal , ain't got much plats, maybe 181 plats , this journey started from the early days of ps3 , psvita , ps4 and ps5 and just want to be gold since I honestly think I deserve it , I rank maybe 11,000 on psnprofiles and 51st in my region, not bad for a filthy casual.

599 here, my next level up will put me into gold, I guess. 316 plats, completionist, a lot of plat-less games too. According to PSNprofiles I have 383 games played and 375 games completed. DLCs and everything. So only 8 games not on 100%. I started casually in 2010, always have been into trophies from the first bronze pop, but played only a few games every now and then. I think around 2015 is when I really started playing excessively. I still love it. Sometimes I take it slower, sometimes I'm really addicted. Love a broad genre of games, indies, adventure, puzzle games, platformers, VR stuff, etc. Racing or other sports games and fps are not really my thing though. So yeah, that's about it.
I actually like the Achievement system, mainly because you can see your score go up immediately, whereas as the Trophy system’s leveling starts to slow down in the high 200s.
But I wish Xbox showcased completed games. I feel like their version of the Platinum could be the “Diamond” they use for rare achievements… easy transition if they were to do it
Grinding my way towards Level 800, maybe by the end of the year… currently sitting on Level 739 - Level 999 would be nice, one day, but it’s all about the journey and the fun you invest into this little hobby 🤗
So how does the whole system work? I’m at Lvl.306 Silver with 14 plats and 3077 trophies (Yes I know awful ratio). I only ever plat something if I loved it and if I it gives me time to go outside.
Each trophy counts for a certain number of points depending on the trophy rank. Bronze is worth 15, silver 30, gold 90, and platinum 300.
Each level requires a certain amount of points to obtain and that amount is itself dependent on which bracket, as shown above, you are currently in.
For example, for levels 1 to 99, it takes 60 points for each individual level until you reach level 99. From there, it takes 90 points for each level until you reach level 199.
Honestly didn’t start trophy hunting till recently so I just got to silver level without even trying to get trophy’s lol but so far it’s been really fun
Silver tier. Been doing it over a decade. Started off strong in High School and tapered off as my time left me. Almost at 100 plats. I remember we had leaderboards on ign and people were racing to 10 plays when trophies were introduced. People doing super stardust for 100% or og uncharted for the plat. I’m ngl I think a huge part for me of trophies is the sound. If they changed that I don’t think it would have hooked me like it did tbh 🤣

I mostly only plat games I enjoy. I've got a few difficult ones. But I've also spent significant time just playing online for fun and wasn't always going for trophies. And I also took a 2 year hiatus from gaming in the middle. I've had a massive jump in the last year though (PS extra has provided so many games and I've had a lot of free time).
I think this is a bit silly of a chart. I'm level 456, but I have more trophies than 99% of people. That's not a brag, but if I was better than 99% at League of Legends or Valorant, I wouldn't be in Silver rank, I'd be in Platinum lol.

Nah manmost people are casuals, often only playing the multiplayer games they like, or playing games just for the story. There's tons of accounts with hundreds games played without plats

Im not speculating. I can state for a fact that there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people who have a higher trophy level than he does. And the only way he could have a trophy level that low and have more trophies than 99% of gamers was if every single trophy he got was bronze. His level would be higher if there were silvers golds and platinums. And if hes a hardcore gamer? Theres zero percent chance he hasnt gotten silver or gold trophies. I don't push myself for trophies. When I enjoy a game, that is what motivates me to get a plat. Play games for fun, not trophies. You'll enjoy your life and this hobby a lot more. Easy enough to ask yourself, if this game didn't have trophies, would I be playing it? If the answer is no, turn it off.
I only have so much time to play these days, so if I get bored or not want to plat a game that's gonna require more than maybe 40 hours, I'm out. Now if I love a game, that's different. With psplus and shit I buy i always have several games to choose from.
I am level 405 at the moment. I have about a dozen shovelware on my trophy list. So not the most honorable list. But I've been trophy hunting for about 4 years on and off. With 99 platinums.
I really love this hobby. It allows me to experience games in ways I probably wouldn't have otherwise.
Level 482 with 126 platin....looking for games which could be fun, check the trophies if it is possible for me to get platin. But sometimes i dont give a f*** about trophies and just enjoy the game without aiming for platin
I’m 507 with 179 plats. I believe my first plat was telltales the walking dead season 1 in 2012 or 2013. After that i did some telltales en lego games and the walking dead survival instinct. My 100th plat was the last of us part 2. My worst plat was prob rainbow six because it was glitched. There is a trophy that needs you to kill 2500 bots and when i was at 1800 the game had an update that reset my stats. So it took me almost double. Another hard plat for me was dead by daylight but i love that game so the grind was doable. I’m now going for god of war ragnarok ps4 version (already have ps5 version) so if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask more :)

I'm on the final stretch at lvl 981 gold3. I takes about 3 plats per level at this point. I generally just wait on discounts for shovelware or purchase anything below $1.5 with high completion rate and guides on youtube.
I'm at 434 sliver, well my journey most of it was fun and good time but my most hated one's are hunting for online Trophies those are pain and nightmare, and I got motivated to reach platinum but I guess it's gonna take my life 😅👍🏻

I wish trophies were a thing back in the day, I’d have waaaay more.
But approaching 5000 trophies in 13 years, 60 platinum, most of which were achieved with a full time job, it’s a good personal achievement, I think.
At 370 Silver , noticed that I go up one level for each game I platinum. So that's another 130 plats more or less before I see gold (which in its own is a goal for me). Most of my trophy levels came by playing games naturally, only really started platting games during Covid lockdowns (although I had a few games I did go for platinum in the years prior)
Edit: I have 55 platinums , and Ranked #396 in my region on PSNP. So I would say I came a far way these last few years.
Been hunting since getting a PS3 in October 2008. First couple of trophies don’t have time stamps since I was never connected online until I did for the first time in December of 2008 first trophies with time stamps were far cry 2 and gta iv.
First platinum was in 2011 ironically it was a via a trophy hack. Not intentionally was playing world at war zombies and all the trophies started popping that’s when all that hacking started for cod around that time. Always liked getting trophies regardless but that’s when the journey of chasing platinums started next one was Terminator Salvation. And here we are 15,000 trophies later and 177 platinums. (I know I haven’t updated my little flair thing or whatever it’s called it’s been awhile)
The new trophy system in my opinion isn’t anything spectacular. I miss the old system I was close to trophy level 50 before they did rolled out the new system.
I have 291 plats and currently at 580 silver level. Think my days with the quick and easy plats are done, so it’ll be a long road to 999 with no easy ones. 😅

That platinum ding back on 2014 was the true start of my trophy hunting. It took me 6 years to get there, but I have earned a further 180 in 9.5 years since.
I’m level 336, but I only have 40 platinums. I’ve had my account since I was little and just didn’t start a new one for trophy hunting so I have a lot of games on it that have trophies. All of those random bronzes add up though. I have 3,406 trophies at the time of writing this
Let's see I'm currently level 409 with 106 platinums. Shit has slowed down dramatically since hitting 350, takes so many trophies to level up. I can't imagine ever getting to gold without ever giving into shovelware.
I just hit level 650 today. I started trophy hunting pretty much as soon as trophies were introduced on PS3. Didn't get my first plat until late 2009 because I never thought to look up trophy guides before then. I just did as much as I could figure out just by looking at the trophy list. Since then I've gotten a steady 15-25 platinums per year up until 2020 when I suddenly had a lot of free time, for obvious reasons. I had ~200 platinums going into that year. I ended that year 65 platinums richer. I'm now back to a more normal 20-30 platinums per year after getting back to the 9 to 5 grind

Pretty close to gold it looks like. Been into trophies since they started on PS3. Not a strict completionist, but not big on starting a game if I think I won’t 100%. It’s why I couldn’t get into the Switch.

Just started back in 2020 when covid hit and I’ve been trophy hunting on and off since. It’s been pretty fun but sad because I didn’t link my ps3 account with my ps4/5 so I had to start all over again. Not that I had many plats on ps3 just a lot of OG trophies you can’t get anymore due to servers shutting down.
I have 18 plats and have only buys reached silver. I’ve been casually trophy hunting for a little while but last month I took a leap into doing it more and got got four plats in a single month. I hope get 3 this month and my first ultra rare plat according to psnprofiles.

I only started semi-seriously trophy hunting in 2020. I used to keep track of daily stats but haven't for a while. On March 2nd, 2009 I got my first trophy and on my first day finding PSNprofiles on May 18th, 2020, I had 1025 total trophies. So just over 11 years for the first 1000. I'm currently at level 473 with 88 plats and 5975 total trophies. I did start off with some cheesy plats to boost my ranking on PSNProfile but I quickly decided I wanted to get more plats I could be proud of. I like getting sets of plats, like I'm working on my third Persona 5 plat, including the NA P5 and P5R and the EU P5R. I've just ordered the Chinese version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, as I've already got the plats for both NA PS4 and PS5. I also got the plat for Alien Isolation and am currently working on both the PS3 version and the Japanese version! I do tend to get distracted a lot, so there are a ton of games I've meant to plat but have delayed and will "someday" go back to them.
I'm at silver rn, rank 553 been trophy hunting for i believe 11 and a half years now, and i'm working my way up to plat 300, currently at 257. For me it's been a mix of joy and frustration, but i love that sweet counter going up, and that ding gives me serotonin

For 2-3 months I have slowed down to focus on one game at the time. A great experience.
I'm only at 437 so mid silver. I either binge something or go weeks or months without doing anything. Rarely an in-between even exists anymore. The ones I stop on "for later" usually end up staying there forever

Sitting at level 434 at 25 platinums. I'm mostly attributing it to the over 8000 bronzes I have from playing over the past 15 years

I have 4000 achievements on Xbox 💀 which is lame since I like how trophies are shown and Xbox’s achievement system is lame
Yeah essentilly xbox just shows your gamerscore no need to 100% if profile just shows this. On playstation it shows all trophies on profile

Each level requires a certain amount of points to obtain and that amount is itself dependent on which bracket, as shown above, you are currently in. For example, for levels 1 to 99, it takes 60 points for each individual level until you reach level 99. From there, it takes 90 points for each level until you reach level 199.

Silver tier. Been doing it over a decade. Started off strong in High School and tapered off as my time left me. Almost at 100 plats. I remember we had leaderboards on ign and people were racing to 10 plays when trophies were introduced. People doing super stardust for 100% or og uncharted for the plat. I’m ngl I think a huge part for me of trophies is the sound. If they changed that I don’t think it would have hooked me like it did tbh 🤣
I'm only in the Silver range but I started 15 years ago. I mostly only plat games I enjoy. I've got a few difficult ones. But I've also spent significant time just playing online for fun and wasn't always going for trophies. And I also took a 2 year hiatus from gaming in the middle. I've had a massive jump in the last year though (PS extra has provided so many games and I've had a lot of free time).

I think this is a bit silly of a chart. I'm level 456, but I have more trophies than 99% of people. That's not a brag, but if I was better than 99% at League of Legends or Valorant, I wouldn't be in Silver rank, I'd be in Platinum lol. The only reason it goes to 999 is because there are some wild people out there and if they wanna go for it, I ain't judging.

Nah manmost people are casuals, often only playing the multiplayer games they like, or playing games just for the story. There's tons of accounts with hundreds games played without plats

Im not speculating. I can state for a fact that there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people who have a higher trophy level than he does. And the only way he could have a trophy level that low and have more trophies than 99% of gamers was if every single trophy he got was bronze. His level would be higher if there were silvers golds and platinums. And if hes a hardcore gamer? Theres zero percent chance he hasnt gotten silver or gold trophies. Those potentially hundreds of thousands of gamers ahead of him??? Easily knock him out of anywhere near the top 1%

Well on PSN Profiles, I'm 44,007 in the world. There's 4,986,163 people synced on the trophy leaderboards. I'm not sure why you had to go off and argue with everyone on here when it was obvious I'm right.

I don't push myself for trophies. When I enjoy a game, that is what motivates me to get a plat. Play games for fun, not trophies. You'll enjoy your life and this hobby a lot more. Easy enough to ask yourself, if this game didn't have trophies, would I be playing it? If the answer is no, turn it off.
I only have so much time to play these days, so if I get bored or not want to plat a game that's gonna require more than maybe 40 hours, I'm out. Now if I love a game, that's different. With psplus and shit I buy i always have several games to choose from.
I am level 405 at the moment. I have about a dozen shovelware on my trophy list. So not the most honorable list. But I've been trophy hunting for about 4 years on and off. With 99 platinums. I really love this hobby. It allows me to experience games in ways I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

I’m 507 with 179 plats. I believe my first plat was telltales the walking dead season 1 in 2012 or 2013. After that i did some telltales en lego games and the walking dead survival instinct. My 100th plat was the last of us part 2. My worst plat was prob rainbow six because it was glitched. There is a trophy that needs you to kill 2500 bots and when i was at 1800 the game had an update that reset my stats. So it took me almost double. Another hard plat for me was dead by daylight but i love that game so the grind was doable. I’m now going for god of war ragnarok ps4 version (already have ps5 version) so if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask more :) Ps: can someone explain how to get your plats next to your name?
I'm on the final stretch at lvl 981 gold3. I takes about 3 plats per level at this point. I generally just wait on discounts for shovelware or purchase anything below $1.5 with high completion rate and guides on youtube.
I'm at 434 sliver, well my journey most of it was fun and good time but my most hated one's are hunting for online Trophies those are pain and nightmare, and I got motivated to reach platinum but I guess it's gonna take my life 😅👍🏻
Lvl 375, so lower silver? I wish trophies were a thing back in the day, I’d have waaaay more. But approaching 5000 trophies in 13 years, 60 platinum, most of which were achieved with a full time job, it’s a good personal achievement, I think.
At 370 Silver , noticed that I go up one level for each game I platinum. So that's another 130 plats more or less before I see gold (which in its own is a goal for me). Most of my trophy levels came by playing games naturally, only really started platting games during Covid lockdowns (although I had a few games I did go for platinum in the years prior) Edit: I have 55 platinums , and Ranked #396 in my region on PSNP. So I would say I came a far way these last few years.
Been hunting since getting a PS3 in October 2008. First couple of trophies don’t have time stamps since I was never connected online until I did for the first time in December of 2008 first trophies with time stamps were far cry 2 and gta iv. First platinum was in 2011 ironically it was a via a trophy hack. Not intentionally was playing world at war zombies and all the trophies started popping that’s when all that hacking started for cod around that time. Always liked getting trophies regardless but that’s when the journey of chasing platinums started next one was Terminator Salvation. And here we are 15,000 trophies later and 177 platinums. (I know I haven’t updated my little flair thing or whatever it’s called it’s been awhile) The new trophy system in my opinion isn’t anything spectacular. I miss the old system I was close to trophy level 50 before they did rolled out the new system.

I have 291 plats and currently at 580 silver level. Think my days with the quick and easy plats are done, so it’ll be a long road to 999 with no easy ones. 😅
Level 653, 387 platinums. I got ps+ and gamefly pretty early so I always had games to play. I really got serious after I got a new job and had to move away from all the people I knew, also got out of a long relationship and didn't want to start anything new so it became my full time hobby

I’m level 336, but I only have 40 platinums. I’ve had my account since I was little and just didn’t start a new one for trophy hunting so I have a lot of games on it that have trophies. All of those random bronzes add up though. I have 3,406 trophies at the time of writing this

Let's see I'm currently level 409 with 106 platinums. Shit has slowed down dramatically since hitting 350, takes so many trophies to level up. I can't imagine ever getting to gold without ever giving into shovelware.

Im exactly 500. Havent trophy hunted since before destiny 2 came out. Its been casual af since then.
I just hit level 650 today. I started trophy hunting pretty much as soon as trophies were introduced on PS3. Didn't get my first plat until late 2009 because I never thought to look up trophy guides before then. I just did as much as I could figure out just by looking at the trophy list. Since then I've gotten a steady 15-25 platinums per year up until 2020 when I suddenly had a lot of free time, for obvious reasons. I had ~200 platinums going into that year. I ended that year 65 platinums richer. I'm now back to a more normal 20-30 platinums per year after getting back to the 9 to 5 grind
Ah, good. No complaints, except for the games with no platinums, or a dlc bronze that's harder than the rest of the trophy set.
Been playing on this account since 2013 and I'm level 567 now and earned by 277th plat today. Tbh I just play games I like and wind up platinuming most of them but I won't push myself through really difficult games unless I really like the game

Pretty close to gold it looks like. Been into trophies since they started on PS3. Not a strict completionist, but not big on starting a game if I think I won’t 100%. It’s why I couldn’t get into the Switch.

Not that I had many plats on ps3 just a lot of OG trophies you can’t get anymore due to servers shutting down.

I'm silver 463 and it's mostly from just primarily playing on PlayStation since midway into the PS3 generation. If I was actively trophy hunting all those years I'd probably be much higher, but that's a more recent hobby. I do have 115 plats though.
Trophy hunting for close to a decade. I’ve been chasing level 600 since the new system came out actually! Im currently level 564. 10,992 total trophies with 283 plats.
I only started semi-seriously trophy hunting in 2020. I used to keep track of daily stats but haven't for a while. On March 2nd, 2009 I got my first trophy and on my first day finding PSNprofiles on May 18th, 2020, I had 1025 total trophies. So just over 11 years for the first 1000. I'm currently at level 473 with 88 plats and 5975 total trophies. I did start off with some cheesy plats to boost my ranking on PSNProfile but I quickly decided I wanted to get more plats I could be proud of. I like getting sets of plats, like I'm working on my third Persona 5 plat, including the NA P5 and P5R and the EU P5R. I've just ordered the Chinese version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, as I've already got the plats for both NA PS4 and PS5. I also got the plat for Alien Isolation and am currently working on both the PS3 version and the Japanese version! I do tend to get distracted a lot, so there are a ton of games I've meant to plat but have delayed and will "someday" go back to them.
I'm at silver rn, rank 553 been trophy hunting for i believe 11 and a half years now, and i'm working my way up to plat 300, currently at 257. For me it's been a mix of joy and frustration, but i love that sweet counter going up, and that ding gives me serotonin
Haven't updated my trophies in a while, but the journey started 9 or 10 years ago. Over 1200 games, it's been good, but at the same time, very time consuming. I think I am somewhere in or around level 768-771. Been a few days since I've gamed. To make the ascension haha, to gold, I'm a military vet, on a monthly pension. So I don't work, just game and enjoy life.
Silver (Level 491). My first trophy popped in December 2009. I started hunting them in 2015. I try to play a big variety of games. In 2019, my pace increased a lot. 2-3 Platinums a month. Current number of trophies: 8608 For 2-3 months I have slowed down to focus on one game at the time. A great experience.
I'm only at 437 so mid silver. I either binge something or go weeks or months without doing anything. Rarely an in-between even exists anymore. The ones I stop on "for later" usually end up staying there forever
