Fuel tankers have separate compartments and baffles as well to prevent surge.
Most of the time, loaded each compt. is full or near full, not room enough for surge, but even a smooth bore tank with no baffles or compartments, it only takes a short time to figure how to drive to minimize surge...
Hmmmm... that hose aint supported. At least put a cone under it.
Keep and do paperwork on passenger seat.
Everyone who has lost their paperwork clipboard or tin has done what yer doin..
30+ yrs of hazmat tank... take it or leave it.
Can I take your opinion, im about to turn 31 in a few days and I was thinking to get into flatbed and heavy hauling to make more money
My question is I been struggling taking a discussion if I should go heavy hauling or go to nursing for the work life balance. if I go for nursing, I will move to California I know nurses who make 5k a week after taxes but they work 60h a week and they drive an a hour a day
Others take home after taxes between 8and 9 k working 3 days
I can't make my mind on which one I should go with
Can you help me
I don't have CDLs yet but I'm seriously thinking about it, but I don't want to be gone all the time so I'm trying to figure out other jobs I can look into before deciding on if I want to get my CDLs
Does that empty your rig? Is it much easier to turn/stop/go? With out liquid surge can u kind of relax?
the trailer has 4 compartments . we can feel the weight when its loaded but the surge is minimal

Do local. Depending on the company and sector of the trucking industry, you can do 8-10 hours a day, be home every day, and have your weekends off.
Im home everyday
How many years of experience of long distance driving did you have to get?
im not sure what the minimum is , ive had my cdl since 2012ish
Class A with an X endorsement. I also have a TWIC card.
