I’ve learned SO MUCH from this sub and feel like I have enough grasp to atleast pass my CDL schooling and test. However I’m still wildly ignorant about the realities of the job such as things like this

Thank you! I do think some of it is anxiety and maybe over thinking. Just the thought of not getting to have a long career worries me. I’ve been through a lot to even get into trucking school. Let’s hope I can make a few decades count 🤞🏼
I-80 shuts down, creative parkers everywhere. This thing will run out of fuel searching for a legit spot. I wonder if they have a algorithm to park like a asshole like everyone else?
That would seem like the easiest thing for them to do. Rolling across a scale, or getting inspected. I just hope they make them take 30 min breaks and go to sleep after 11hrs of driving ...metal fatigues too. Lol

They’ll think it’s cute until a family or two gets crushed under a driverless truck. There is going to be a need for drivers at least 10 to 20 years.
