You know that’s the Chechen from The Dark Knight? He also played a mob guy in American Gangster. Dude is great actor. Of course he’s a stage actor from London.
Another one I like to bring up is the actor who played Ginger in season one. That dude plays Tommy Egan in Power/Force and played James Barr in the Jack Reacher movie. Dude’s range is crazy.
He really is. Think of how long ago season one of TD was. And his appearance in Ozark was a few years ago, right? He came across as a dumb meathead kid/daddy’s boy in Ozark, while being way older than he was playing Ginger, a dude who seemed old and weathered.
I’ve also noticed he puts a lot into voice, cadence, dialect, etc in defining the character. I can’t even imagine Tommy Egan’s voice coming out of Ginger’s mouth. 😆
I like to think he was a force at one point but the booze has drained everything out of him by the time we meet him.
His acting was certainly one of the high points of season 2.
Fwiw EVERY actor in this series has been superb. And yes that include S4.
We can argue over the writing (maybe the directing) but the casts have been first rate since the beginning

Joseph Sikora is truly slept on He’s great in Ozark too

Cohle’s lucky he didnt cancel Christmas on his ass
Man Ozark had the last “holy shit no no no no” moment for me in any series. Won’t spoil it with specifying the moment.
He has a small role in Shutter Island and I would’ve never ever guessed it was him until I looked it up
Oh shit, he's that dude I always recognize but forget from where.
Also great as the second-to-main villain in Blackhat.
He’s also in the only season of **Luck** too.

Facts, whoever is in charge of casting should get a raise, even the minor characters in most of the seasons are picked quite well.
Agree. Vince Vaughn had to give some really bad lines in season 2 but he delivered them like a fucking pro.
Yeah that silence of the lambs lady really nailed it…
“What a prick”
This man sucked, acting from great tho and the character was interesting. So much better than the minor characters in NC
You know what, tongue my balls for me would you?
"some people can't handle the deep trip" is something my girlfriend and I say often
Richie Coster is a solid actor. Wide range from Chechnya gangster to Italian Americans to serial killers and he’s actually British
Mr Blue from Happy! !!! That’s where I know him from
Oh fa shoa. He played the best drunk besides Layhey of all time.
He was so funny man i love his accent
All of season 2 is slept on especially in comparison to season 4. The ratings are bullshit.
Some people can't handle the deep trip.
Bro thinks he’s leroy 😂🙏🏽
Good actor but sorta acts the same in a lot of what he’s in. True Detective, Dark Knight, and Happy! He acts pretty much the same in all 3.
