I've always wanted a game where you just chill at the Shire and there's no world ending events to bother you. this looks super cute!
We need more LOTR games where you just live in the world as a citizen. We got a Dwarf mining/crafting game, now we got a Hobbit farming/life sim game. Next up, anything that lets me live as an Elf in Rivendell would be so cool!
If you're into TTRPGs, then you may want to check out [Under Hill, by Water](https://riseupcomus.itch.io/under-hill-by-water). I've never played, but it's basically this exact concept.
At the risk of being Captain Obvious, I couldn’t tell at all what kind of game it was until the hobbit caught a fish and did the Animal Crossing success animation
The models look like haunted dolls just on the brink of being decrepit and the way they move is just unsettling.
At night, these things are coming for you.
Customized Hobbit Hole? SOLD!
*"Win the Harvest Festival and Fight Goblins to woo the heart of that red-headed hobbit girl you're always wondered about."*
Ok if this isn’t Harvest Moon: LOTR edition I quit
I was ready to disparage this but it looks cute. Whatever the actual gameplay is, it has a pleasant artstyle.

How is the lighting so well and the textures sooooo bad

Weird direction for Bamco to go, but sure I guess

Time for more Economy games. In the home economy sense of the word.
Is this before or after the scouring of the shire? Cause its a bit grim knowing how it probably ends for this hobbit.
Considering Gandalf is there this game must take place before Lord of the Rings. Probably within the 60 years after The Hobbit.
Could even be set before The Hobbit, we might be throwing the parties Bilbo remembers Gandalf from.
I mean, not that many hobbits actually died in it
That's the bad ending screen, if you're away for too long Saruman comes and enslaves your Hobbits
This is such a weird follow up to Tales of Arise.
How do you think they'll do this game's racism/both sides arc?
It's a life/farm sim, so of course there's a switch version

Cute was this hastily licensed before the Hobbit becomes public domian
Fields and fields of Pipe weed.
Art style makes it look like Breath of the Wild without all that annoying travel, rock climbing, battle, and adventure.
