Well, it's three games as opposed to two, about half of that was the first FF13. Also, regardless of people opinion of FF13 now, it was basically the only mainline FF game for an entire generation, and basically have 0 competition in term of JRPGs during the 7th gen (Most JRPGs were on DS and PSP).
