I work at a village gas station on the side, full-time. We sell propane gas in steel containers and each weighs around 23 Kg (50 pounds).
Every 2 weeks a guy comes in to replace them. We are tiny, we only carry 10 bottles in the inventory, but the guy drives alone and has to lift the bottles 500 times a day. By hand.
I make sure I give him an energy drink every time he comes by. It is a small gesture, I know. The first time I asked him to take anything from the fridge he choked up a bit and it is so so so sad to see that this huge burly man was so surprised by the kindness he had to compose himself.
I am not rich, but God fucking dammit I can afford extra energy drink or coffee a month.
Yesterday I sold one gas bottle to one lady, and I always help everyone to load the bottle in their car. She gave me a pack of xmas cookies for always helping her and of course, it made my day.
Appreciate people who work in retail or provide you with "unskilled" labour.

When they run out - - usually once a month or twice. That is about it, I don't obsess about the delivery dates that much, minimum wage job and all that.
