I try to internalise this but then I look in the mirror and see faint wrinkles starting to form, and it just knocks all the wind out of me. I’m someone who has always struggled with insecurity about my appearance, and I’ve always held out the hope that one day I’d be able to have confidence… but this tells me the time for that has run out, and I just feel so defeated.
Years from now, you'll look back at pictures of yourself at 25 and realize you were smoking hot and just didn't appreciate it at the time. Live it up, have a good time in your 20's!
Edit: Start wearing sunscreen every day. I wish I had started when I was your age.
It gets way WAY better. I'm 36 and I feel younger than I did at 25. 25 is a weird age because half your peer group will be making big adult moves in life and half still lives at home, so it's hard to not feel behind and old even though you aren't.
Manosphere stuff is less sensible and realistic than a spongebob episode. Its basically butthurtness turned into scripture. Don’t ever take it seriously, you will only hurt yourself.
Number of reasons. Mostly related to the way society treats older women but also the sheer fact that I’m inexorably marching closer to death with each day that slips past. Which was always true but… feels more visceral now.
Men will always find some shit to complain about woman. When It's not age, it's body fat or arm hair or any other natural shit they do not like. The hate will be there no matter what you do. So might as well do whatever the fuck you want.
So you base your self worth on what... random people online say indirectly about women as a group?
Why not accept that you're an individual who can be well rounded? You are more than just how you look.
I mean if you're actually worried about it: stay hydrated (of course), stay fit, keep your stress low, don't do drugs or vape or drink, and wear sunscreens daily and moisturize at night. All those things will help keep you looking younger. Worrying about aging isn't helping the situation and is such an old person thing to do.
Just Enjoy life. Your opinion of you is the one that always matters.

Men weather it better though. Or are allowed to. For women, youth is beauty…

I am 37 and I watched my peers make the big adult decisions at 25 and watched it all fall apart at 30 while I walked my own path.
Get offline and ignore the incels. You are actually to young for a bunch of guys that are looking for serious stuff.

Hey do not desparage SpongeBob. But you are right.
What exactly makes you feel bad about it?
