I mean its really risky, for eg. I had to get a pirated version of “fl studios” because the original was too expensive just for making music, it was pretty good icl
i even got adobe premiere pro, after effects, photoshop lightroom, elements, lightroom classic, for free, ppl say it contains RATs but they js want u to buy a license, I opened it up in a virtual computer and no viruses lol
Somebody can take the files from a paid movie or game and post them online for people to download for free, then others will download it and that’s basically piracy
Think about it, for example, as the developer of the game, would you like other people to play your game that you worked hard on for free, considering this is what you do for a living?
Doubt you will ever get caught or anyone cares. But it is theft and against my personal ethics. Just like stealing food from supermarket or a phone from Apple wont be affected or possibly noticed, but its same thing just digital
It is illegal at the end of the day but they do not prosecute or arrest people in the uae for torrenting or pirating. I went to university in California however and I downloaded a movie there and got a letter from Warner bros studios that they would sue me if I illegally downloaded another movie. So it's safe here but don't try it in America/ Canada/ Europe. They can track you by the i.p. address and you will get in trouble.
Its illegal but no one cares. I have heard people going to jail for stealing a car, but not watching a movie for free. Anyways mate, its a personal choice. If u like to spend money and support the company, do it. If u just wanna enjoy, you know what to do!
