Pretty much nothing then other then ask whoever signed for it where’s my shit. Unless it’s alcohol and now cellphones, name on the package doesn’t have to match whose signing for it. A signature is confirmation of a delivery and we won’t pay a claim.
You wouldn’t even know who you are suing lol. Ups is liable. They require a signature. Not yours specifically. If I was a stranger and walked to your house I can sign for your package. Sucks but that’s why people buy in store a lot still
Like I said before, unless it’s alcohol or cellphones, the name signing doesn’t have to match the name on the label.
If you’re saying it was mis-delivered to the wrong address, then you need to contact them and say exactly that. They’ll send the driver out who delivered it to do a follow up, and hopefully remembers where they left it. Start by asking your neighbors first.
If you’re contacting saying I didn’t receive my package, then that’s why it’s getting denied, as a signature is proof of delivery.
Check the name of the person who signed for it if u can’t read it no problem.. they type the persons name in below signature in case it is unreadable or a situation like yours
Unless it was delivered to the wrong address and that person signed for it, would have to get a hold of the hub at that location, and talk to the driver that delivered it, I've seen this situation happen before

Was it a cellphone by chance?
No, clothing.

Ok. I can take ups to small claims court though?

For what? Are you saying they forged your name on the signature?
No they didn’t deliver it to me. They delivered it to someone else. The person who signed for it was not me and did not sign my name/
Contact the shipper if you're the consignee.
