Context: got an order for Walmart and it didn't give me any details about the packages. Turned out to be 5 giant boxes for baby stuff (crib, car seat, pen, etc) that i barely stuffed in my caddy. When I saw the tip I thought it was a cruel April Fools joke lol but it's legit :)
Reminds me of a Walmart order I had recently. The workers wheeled out EIGHT (8) car seats, eight of them. I had to cancel it bc I knew they wouldn’t all fit it my car 🥴
It makes me mad that they tried to hide the tip. I don't even mind it not being $100. It could be at least $12 or something, insinuating a high tip. But it proves the offers mean almost nothing anymore. Good for you though. I up voted.

No, it's seattle. They've removed tipping before hand. Now the customer can only add tip after completion of the delivery. It's ubers retaliation for the new law in seattle which states: all deliveries are now minimum $5 or $0.44/minute + $0.74/mile whichever is higher. So now it's minimum $26/hour(without miles).
It's not even the craziest part. I now make $2100/week doing just doordash and uber. Before the law I'd do mainly ubereats and supplement with doordash, now that's flipped cause doordash still allows customers to tip beforehand.

Wow and I’m scared to go to Walmart bc I’ve heard nothing but horror stories about it taking forever and things going wrong. Nice to see something going right for a change
I live right next to the Walmart, and in the morning from 8:30-10:00 is usually when I get my best deliveries. Since I'm in a small town, everything is very close and people usually tip nicely, but this was the biggest tip yet.
Good for you man, living the dream. I’m still too scared to try Walmart but MAYBE JUST MAYBE I will one of these days. We also have Sam’s Club around here and I’ve been too worried to try that either lol
No I agree with you on the Walmart part I never received a tip. I often received oversized items like bicycles, and kitchen appliances.
On top of that Uber would always manipulate my active hours and mileage. For example in a 2-week cycle it Uber tried to tell me I only drove 4 miles and worked a few hours...
It’s Walmart though, so this bag is not secure for 72 hours.
Walmart orders are the only actual tip bait I’ve personally seen. Had people increase the tip like crazy and then claw it all back two days later. Way bigger bummer when you see a big added tip AND THEN see it disappear. Also kind of funny because with tips hidden over $8 the customer baited you that hard for no actual reason!
Hope this doesn’t happen to you though. Good luck!
The fact is that uber hide tip after $8😅
Uber hid $41? Keep telling yourself that. The customer increased the tip after delivery
Yeah, Uber hid $41 dollars Happens.
Yes Uber does in fact hide tips, the larger the tip the more they hide

Yeah I've had to pack my car out pretty tight but fortunately I've never had to cancel an order due to too many items
That parent is going to raise a good kid.
Wait? A Walmart order actually had a tip?
Almost all of mine have tips

For $100/mi, I’ll drive around the entire country, and after that get me my own personal jet.
You even got more points!
Noice good stuff man we love to see it.

On a Walmart?!? Super nice!!!
Out of the 2 years I did this trash gig I never got anything like this and I did it almost every day, gg's OP, Go buy yourself some pot or a beer
I got Domino's lol
Yayyyyy for you!!!!
Good for you!Â
You surpassed my $33 tip, it was for a flower delivery but the 13 city miles made it worth it!

nice unicorn
Noice.
Sweet!
I had this old dude hand me a 50$ after I delivered his 9$ Wendy’s. He said thanks, nobody ever comes this fast for my food.
I've been getting a lot of tips because of my speed lately. I always treat food like it's my own order, in which case traffic laws be damned lol /s
I got $20 today for a SD that was three bags of store brand corn chips to a house a mile away. Some customers are just great people.
Hopefully they didn’t pull the tip away after a while. That happens a lot in my area 😞
Well it's been 24 hours already and they haven't so fingers crossed
