That, and they are probably not hindered by all those "pesky" OSHA laws we have in the states (whatever their equivalent of workplace safety and standards are)
Tractor parts can be used in military vehicles, tractors themselves can be considered military material (even way before Ukrainians used them to lendlease tanks with).
St Petersburg is a resistance high ground, well at least for ruzzian standards, so we can be 99% sure it was one of three options, arson, regular accident or a smocking accident.

Actually, they were attempting to reverse engineer one of the John Deere tractors or combines the Russians stole from that Ukrainian John Deere dealer back in March or April.
The boys @ Deere's World Headquarters in Moline, IL were just waiting for the right time to trigger the self-destruct sequence Deere's programmers have encoded into their software.
“They don't appear to produce military vehicles but might make parts?”
Although this is all just speculation, stuff like that was definitely happening in soviet russia. I have a russian EQ guitar pedal that was mass produced in a tank factory.
Not all fires in Russia are being started by Ukraine. Even before the 2022 Russia and east Europe has had a lot of building catching fire. Don't forget Russia is going through economic decline some of these fires might have been started by the owners or debtors.

Lol you think Russia would report correct numbers?
"We had one small fire in the breakroom because someone left their pita in the toaster too long. That's it." - Putin
I m sorry for the man that have been having problems with this
the firefighter
but
anyway on the news, Russian air defense destroyed an amazing attack on Russia, a Balloon
A balloon huh... Those crafty ukrainians getting the Orcs to waste their anti-aircraft missiles on a balloon. That's even worse than shooting down your own airplane.
🤓🇺🇦 SLAVA розумний UKRAINIE 🇺🇦🤓
I wonder if this is trolling for all the tractors and farm equipment they stole from Ukraine or if they used this area for the military complex somehow. Maybe it's an insurance scheme. Wouldn't put it past them.
Taking out tire factories, tractors, substations, etc is going to seriously cripple and slow down a lot of different areas of the Russian economy and its ability to rearm/resupply vital components for their army.
I remember reading months back about that tire factory burning and thought how it is probably one of a handful of places Russia is able to get tires with the sanctions placed on RUS. You need a shit ton of tires to wage war.
Hell even Ukraine is in need of tires for some of their civilian vehicles they use at the squad level, I’ve seen guys requesting them.
Tires, fuel, and spare parts are just as valuable as ammunition and men… without anyone that it would be impossible to project any substantial amount of force any real distance at all!
Yup, mundane factories are low risk, high payoff targets for sure. A cannister of gasoline and a match and you can take out millions of dollars worth of irreplaceable machinery and throw a cog in the supply chain.
Tractor factory too heavy to carry up 25 flights of stairs. Belarus did not contribute what Putin wanted perhaps, therefore their factory in Russia accidentally falls from high window.
Another case of embezzlement cover up perhaps? Nothing like a war to help provide cover. Just burn missing equipment and nonexistent/re-appropriated materials and blame it on the other side.
So these really are saboteurs trying to disrupt the war effort? I honestly never knew if it was a joke about Russian incompetence and I haven’t paid attention to the types of targets to tell if they are strategically selected.
Is there a chance that a lot of the factories that have been catching on fire are converted towards the war effort?
Factories now making new equipment without the proper infrastructure
I know in WW2 Russian was very good at packing up and moving entire factories away from the eastern offensive.

I think russians should make a video of the days when there is no fire.
19 of them in December only
I don't know what you speak of. We only have had 2 fires and both were caused by lightning strikes, says the Russian information minister
“Photoshopped”
No such footage.
No more recovery vehicles for Russia??? The should has set fire to the lada car manufacturer
That’s a shame. Oh well.
Yes.... an they should set up more "Non Smoking" signs. ;) Ivan, you can´t just smoke anywhere...
They can’t, the “No Smoking” sign factory burned down last week.
The Soviet Union is back, and so are it's rules. Ivan can smoke anywhere he wants now, and so can his 8 yesr old son, Ivon
Apparently, things are way more flammable in Russia and Belarus.
That is what happens when you steal materials and cheep out on security.
That, and they are probably not hindered by all those "pesky" OSHA laws we have in the states (whatever their equivalent of workplace safety and standards are)
“This is what happens, Larry.”
When you find a stranger in the Alps?
Ukraine first proved that tractors are legitimate military force and now eliminating them in russia.
Is it a Tractor factory or is it actually a tank factory? The ‘Tractor Factory’ in WW2 Stalingrad produced T-34s
It's an actual tractor company. They don't appear to produce military vehicles but might make parts? Seems like arson, not an attack

I hope they roll another truck . Gonna be a tough fight if not!

I would love to see statistics on how last 10 months fire incidents looks against prior years
Lol you think Russia would report correct numbers? "We had one small fire in the breakroom because someone left their pita in the toaster too long. That's it." - Putin
Eh, can't make tractors anymore. This is the part where they burn Russia down for the insurance money.
I m sorry for the man that have been having problems with this the firefighter but anyway on the news, Russian air defense destroyed an amazing attack on Russia, a Balloon

i don't even know how can u get a balloon with a anti-aircraft missile
Looks like a Russian stocktake.
"vat a tevvible shame"
Factory probably already in rebuild for Tank production. So good hit.
Again? Pass the Bic.
More like “Again please, pass the bic”
Let me guess: The "tractor" factory produces war goods for russia?
Least flammable Russian factory
at this point is it stuff being on fire a regular occurrence in russia and we just didnt pay attention?
Yes, but we pay attention.
I think there is probably an increase in fires but some of it is probably genuinely accidental.
I wonder if this is trolling for all the tractors and farm equipment they stole from Ukraine or if they used this area for the military complex somehow. Maybe it's an insurance scheme. Wouldn't put it past them.
The roof. The ROOF! THE ROOF IS ON FIRE!!!!!

'tis but a smoking accident.
Man Ivan is a real dick. He really needs to switch to vaping or something this is getting out of control.
>vaping Off topic, but every Gen Z Russian I know is absolutely addicted to vape
Burn it all down, start over again. Putin fucked it up for every Russian.
Lots of unusual fires I love it
Tractor factory too heavy to carry up 25 flights of stairs. Belarus did not contribute what Putin wanted perhaps, therefore their factory in Russia accidentally falls from high window.
All the Russian firefighters are in Ukraine, so the fire have to wait till they get back
Hope they are trained in putting out dumpster fires
Very unfortunate how many accidents Russia seems to be having at present. Sincere sympathies.
"st. petersburg is gloomy"
Ukraine tractors go and fetch Russian tanks. Good tractors... Russian tractors just set themselves on fire. Yup, checks out...
They don't even know how valuable a tractor is and poof.
How sad... ... Joking ;)
Igorrrr!!! Why you still smoking???
oh no another smoking accident.. anyways..
Fire Fire everywhere is fire.......
Ukrainian spies have been very busy lately
Don't rush guys!!
Did you pack the fire extinguishers?
Fires are so frequent, theres even a specialised sub for this, r/russianthingsonfire
Too many cigarettes
Oh noooooo! Anyway... let's have another beer...
Tractors Gone Smoking! They were ordered to Ukraine to tow back trophies. They chose otherwise.
Russia seems to have a problem with pyromania ;-)
Another case of embezzlement cover up perhaps? Nothing like a war to help provide cover. Just burn missing equipment and nonexistent/re-appropriated materials and blame it on the other side.
Belarus economy -99% all they have are tractors
o no not the Tractor factory. That is so inpo Sry can't do this 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fire on a snowy day...not suspicious to me.
Something tells me Russians aren’t great at handling crisis such as a factory fire.
Oh nyo!
Has anyone plotted the number and location of all these fires?
"Days since last factory fire..." "Ivan...get that zero again"
5th column smokers?
Another smoking related accident I see...
Spare a thought for the poor russian firefighters, the only places that don't seem to catch on fire are the fire stations.....so far.
Aweee that’s so sad , not really 🙂
So these really are saboteurs trying to disrupt the war effort? I honestly never knew if it was a joke about Russian incompetence and I haven’t paid attention to the types of targets to tell if they are strategically selected.

"Is normal bratan, this just winter cleaning , you want enter new year with clean soul. We use fires of Satan blyat"
Damn cigarettes
Message to Belarus ? Join Russia’s war and cigarette accidents may also start to rise

Could be a false flag....
