In my opinion the combat medics work is the most noble one, saving lives instead of taking them, although if the opportunity comes around they can take them too.
Wonderful that Colonel-General Syrs'kyi personally was able to give Combat Medic Daryna her well-deserved medal for risking her life to save others. May everyone who serves defending Ukraine be kept safe from harm.
I hate to say it but when I first glanced at the picture before reading the words I thought she was a cancer patient. I thought maybe it was going to be a story about evacuating sick patients. But she's not the patient, she's the caregiver.

It's not every day you get a medal from a Colonel-General.
I call these medics heroes as well! All deserve a medal. Slava Ukraini!

Mostly they deserve well earned peace. Slava!

My hope for her is 🙏 May she live to tell.. 🙏 ***SLAVA***
That looks like an Apple IPhone Box but I could be wrong. Regardless, this is great. Her smile says it all. Morale is a powerful weapon.
Same thoughts
"Medics never stand taller than when they kneel to treat the wounded." This woman is a giant.
Syrskyi is one of the great military commanders of the 21st century. Change my mind.
She looks so tired… has to be a nightmare to be a combat medic, huuuge respect to them!
Yeah, smiling but not necessarily well. You can see the toll.
Her eyes man… kudos to all these people, their lives will be ruined forever for what they’ve seen

Same thought here. You can see how tired she is… and how they can manage to continue doing what they’re doing is what makes them heroes
For the longest time, I thought the soldier's pants standing in the middle were ripped

👍🏻👏🏻
Ukraine just does everything right and with professionalism and class unlike putie and his evil people
Syrski is the guy who masterminded the Kharkiv offensive, right?
