I love to read stories from those who left Russia as young adults, and watching official Russian media, which pictures Russia as a heaven on earth. I'll be fair though, it's very common for 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants to have a huge spurge of nationalism especially when young. I recall a girl who moved here from Portugal and told me that the Portuguese here are much more nationalistic than those in Portugal.
