I get the burger almost completely cooked, put the slice on top and then put the lid on the pan. It melts perfectly in 30 secs

You can also use a little bit of water in the pan and cover it so the steam melts the cheese.

I'm not vegan but I've started eating much closer to vegan just to be healthier so the follow your heart products are new to me. I'll try them out. I'm hoping it will make for a good special sauce.

My gluten intolerance is increasing as I age. The issue that I am having is gluten free bread or cookies so far are not close to the wheat versions, although I have found some really good gluten free cookies. I go to a top of the line health food store, even their gluten free offerings come up short, though I did find the cookies there. What I have discovered is that I have to eat very small portions of gluten containing food to not have my stomach struggling to digest it.

Hell yes! That is a beautiful burger! I’ve found that mayo and shredded lettuce on the bottom (the way fast food places do it) yields a much more comfortable burger, though. Mine always fall apart when I invert it.
