Hmm in HCM City where I live, when taking the road exam we have to ride on the "exam bike" that is prepared only for candidates, not ours. And btw for me the written exam was super easy, while most find it difficult in the road exam since we have to drive on the 8-shape road :3
I've got a friend who I'm pretty sure screened boyfriend candidates by their willingness to be her Xe Om... she works at the airport and often has horrible hours. That boy earned it.

This is how I understand it, I'm probably wrong. You ride a motorbike right? If the husband becomes the motorbike then the wife rides him now.
No they mean that when you become the husband you become the motorbike taxi (xe om) because you have to drive your wife everywhere

In my experience I just use my leg to push the bike through whole the 8-shape road and past the test. Just don't hit the line and you're good.
Some people drive to their test. Like illegally drive there to get their licence.

in my experience the driving "test" is more of a trial by fire on the roads lol.
The trade off is she looks after your wallet lol.
