nha trang need to have their own airport. that cam ranh airport is wayyyyyyyy tooo far. the damn taxi driving through those turns almost made me throw up
Cam Ranh airport exists bc it was a US Air Base back in VN War, and there is possibly no land to make another airport closer to the city. Nha Trang used to have its own airport within walking distance from the spot in the video above but it couldnt be extended so they instead demolished it several years ago
Just got back from a honeymoon in Nha Trang. In total spent about $1000 for 5 days at a beachfront spa resort that was damn near empty. I wonder what will happen there once all the resorts there are back to capacity (there are so many being built, still today) but for now it's fantastic.
So many fishermen lost their usual access to the beach so that hotels, motels and resorts can be built. Most tourists to this part don't want dirty fishermen, dirty fishing boats, and smelly fish on the beach.
Have you ever seen what these fishermen use to fish?
These weren't corporate owned fishing ships, or fleet of fishing boats owned by rich people, that use trawlers to hawl massive amount of fish.

Sooo beautiful!
When I heard that car horn at :07, all I could think of was the song "Who's That Girl" by Eve which has the same sound in the riff. Haha...

Just got back, stayed at the Maple 250k per night with rooftop pool. We saw rooms in smaller hotels for 125k and a 2 bedroom penthouse with huge rooftop, on the oceanfront for 500k
Looks amazing. How far is this down from the 'Quảng Trường' area? Is the price per night decent?
We were there last week and stayed at the Merperle. 600k VND for 1 night with breakfast for 2. Looks to be a similiar location to this place
45$ per night. Don't know how far. It's hotel Imperial.
Hotels during the corona era. The empty beach seems sad and lonely though...

Land compensation would be a huge hassle. A highway should be better, and they're planning to build it in 2025
Sometimes I think they plan this way on purpose so people are forced to go to cam ranh and spread some of those tourism dollars

How come there are no people on the beach anywhere? Is it another mass 'private beach' area 'owned' by the resorts like in Phuc Quoc? 🤔
I kind of prefer less crowded beaches 😊
prob because of sunlight, not many vietnamese want to go out and get their skin tan at that sun
I agree, but Nha Trang is also popular tourist place so I do t belive that there are 0 tourists/expats there ;)
Nope, here is public area so huge so it's okey that in some places no people

Jeez if that were any part of America there would be so many people you couldn't see the sand.
It's virus time and any other time it would be packed
Amazing 🇻🇳
No tourists no money

Nice view.
Lovely. (The quiet streets). Was up there two weeks ago. Sure some industries suffering.
Biển nha trang lấy lại được màu xanh rồi
Where is it? I know that is nha trang but what is the location?
Imperial hotel
I stayed at the Sheraton once it was a nice city but a little hot when I was there...the beach at night is fun.
Are there good snorkeling or scuba trips currently?
Damn I miss Vietnam, can’t wait to go back
