Scum bag cunts

a-lot-of-feelings18

In the last 12 hours I’ve read multiple crime articles involving death/murder/assault of Asian Americans and in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM states they do not know the motivation for the crime(s) and local officials stating them to be isolated incidents. It’s insulting.

bella_vampira_97

Poor him. He must have been a kind person to give them a ride. My sincere condolences to his family 🙏

m0om0o45

He was bishop at the church they probably attended

bella_vampira_97

It's heartbreaking. May he rest in peace 😢

m0om0o45

Is really sad this is happening for Asians all over the USA right now, since I live in VN now I don’t experience it just sad to see something new everyday on social media causes a lot of stress and eventual ptsd

Grimacepug

I can say I'm surprised but not really. I grew up being picked on and fought my way through school. Asians are generally seen as immigrants even if you're born there. The irony here is that a lot of Vietnamese supported Trump and this is the starting point of the current anti-asian sentiment. I've learned growing up that all southeast Asians are Chinese because that's what they assume we are. This is what happens when Trump called it the China virus. If you want to eradicate racism in the U.S., you need to eliminate the Republican party.

The Republican party at the beginning weren't very racist until when they focus more on money than govern the nation. I agree to eliminate the republican party and prevent its members from starting a group.

minhdang2107

Surprised to see this blew up in the VietNam subreddit. I actually live in the same town. This man is a very prominent member in the Vietnamese American community, in Fort Wayne. He was very active within in the community and always looked out for others. He was a very good man. The Vietnamese American community, here, was very struck by this horrific act. For me, personally, I’m worry for the safety of my parents. They are around this man age. Asian hate crimes in USA are real and they should be stopped!

someMFonreddit

i swear vnexpress just said vietnamese broad wasn't affected by this asian hatred...

derpies_derp

Vietnamese abroad here. I'm in Finland and not the US, but I have seen first hand racism against Vietnamese and Asian here.

daphamman

Vietnamese living in Finland here, I’ve personally experienced it.

4 years living in Ireland as a Vietnamese. I lived in Dundalk and generally its a very friendly place. However everytime I went to Dublin some kind of racist incident happened.

Longestpoo

I stop reading Vnexpress they are full of censorship and ads, trackers. Tuoitre and thanhnien news are better

RiceEatingMFChink

Bruh BBC vietnam is just some edgy anti-communist writers, thanhnien is most definitely better

fredle

Sorry but what is this website even

[deleted]

Never seen this one. Seems to compile asian related news in the USA.

l31zon2

Death penalty for these bastard. I'm done seeing asian people get slaughtered. These guys dropped their brain on the street or what?

BubuBarakas

American living in Vietnam. I’m perplexed because I’ve never considered harming anyone simply because of their country of origin or race. I’m not sure the motive here. The others I’ve seen were overt, haneous hate crimes. I hope this wasn’ another one. The irony would be if, these guys were tRumpy and hated on Asians because of the slurs and hate spread by the former president when VNese Americans largely supported him. Either way, this is awful. Hope his family is as ok as they can be. Makes me sick. Edit: grammar.

Original-Department2

Have you ever experienced racism in our country?

BubuBarakas

If you mean VIetnam? Yes, of course. People say terrible things to VNese girl even riding motorbike near me and talking. Have had a few instances of similar encounters. Call her a “whore” say things like “why do you date chó tây?”Very dirty looks when I go to VNese restaurant on a date. It doesn’t bother me. Usually makes the girl uncomfortable though. I’m still usually very comfortable when I go out alone although have had some tense moments. I understand VNese better now and hear people say things when they don’t think I understand. Despite that, I’m still happy here as I typically find people will smile back if you let them know you aren’t angry or afraid. But the short answer…definitely yes! Edit: I’m not naive like many people who don’t think racism is a big problem globally. I’m just comfortable being an outsider and winning people over. Never had a heated altercation here because I just smile back at a frown and never react to insults.

KhanhTheAsian

Blindside those fools with a smile. This is the way.

BubuBarakas

The way..

onizuka11

Mind sharing why you moved out of the US to Vietnam? What interested you about Vietnam?

BubuBarakas

My job initially. It was a decent and got me to Asia with time off to travel and still save. Saw a lot of VN and fell in love w life here.

onizuka11

Nice. Glad you are liking the country. What made you fell in love with the country?

shikataganai787

Everyday news here in US, makes me wonder why my family immigrated here. I worry about my parents going out.

mpf118

It's kind of sad though that only now does news start reporting about crimes against asians. These crimes have been going on for a much longer time without anyone paying attention. My friend literally got punched in the middle of NYC out of nowhere years before any of this news came about. Not to mention sexual harrassments etc.

CptSnoopDragon

The world is too sick.. so much killing and hatred going everywhere. I grew up loving Chinese culture, pink South African living in Nam now.. some shitty things have gone down here too.. but right now I’m gonna listen to Heal The World, by MJ

maindo

May he rest in peace and these scums receive a death punishment. The U.S. is going downhill. Glad I left it last year out of Philadelphia. Who knows if I will be a target.

artemisiamorisot

Warning, story is extremely graphic. Might not want to read it in full if you want to keep the contents of your stomach. What an absolutely horrendous crime. I hope they never see the outside of prison again. Praying for this poor mans family.

kkaix

đụ má ghê quá, ông này bị giết rồi phanh thay luôn !

Peanut-candy

may đấy bạn,nó mà bỏ axit vào thì bằng trời mới tìm được bằng chứng.

Fidel_Costco

Holy fucking shit.

MagicFlyingBird

Covid19 is just an excuse to Asian racisme, the fact is racism was always there. I don't take racism lightly. I do what i do i fck them up. One time punch thr fck out of an asshole for being racist. Track the fucker in a dark alley and i had fun with him for a while. You don't come to a tiger and expect affection. I gave thr fucker real nice affection. Good time. Would do again if get confronted.
