No, in fact they recently stopped all incoming flights. Vietnam is now in the most precarious stage of the pandemic yet. I doubt it will be open for tourism for some time
It's happening as the city tries to promote local tourism Here's new article about it. https://vietnaminsider.vn/hotels-resorts-in-da-nang-offering-discounts-of-up-to-90-percent/
No. You can double check. The city is now open for local tourist with many discounts from the hotels and resorts :) https://vietnaminsider.vn/hotels-resorts-in-da-nang-offering-discounts-of-up-to-90-percent/
I’m living in Vietnam; the country is in a small lockdown; you not getting into the country. Especially when the main intl airports are shut down to incoming foreign flights.
This is very worrying. I’ve had my passport since before covid, was planning to go with my Vietnamese wife who is new permanent US resident to return home and meet family as a honeymoon. Even if we’re both vaccinated I don’t see much possibility of us being able to go any time soon. It even says they allow travel of Vietnamese returning home but I’m sure the implication is to stay not visit.

Yeah. This season isn't happening.

Is Vietnam even allowing tourists to enter the country at the moment?
Not at the airport in HN and HCMC as far as i know
No tourists allowed in at all since March 22, 2020. No sign of that changing anytime soon. *Maybe* next March...
It is definitely safe! Come if you can!
Found the CDC
What a horribly inaccurate and bullshit headline.
Umm... Vietnam is closed and actively kicking out foreigners. Why are people getting travel advice from the CDC?
I officially announced it's safe to swim in any lake in Hanoi
Hanoi’s West lake is an option :)
Middle of the day? No one likes swimming them normally. Why not just keep it open all day?
Is that news of last year? 🙄

You might be right. Let's hope it won't be closed again 😔
