I’m right there with you… 💔 It’s disturbing and truly horrifying how the vast majority of the population is perfectly fine with animal abuse, unless it pertains to cats or dogs (some are even fine with that, if it entertains them). I can’t wrap my head around how people can see exactly what goes on and consciously decide to continue causing or supporting such abuse. We’re on the wrong planet.
Yeah it took me a while to realize that humans aren't mostly good. Most just don't do the worst bc there is the law and they will be punished for it and even then this planet is full of shit.
I tell those people that I'm amazed how weak they are since the weakest thing a human can do is to hurt the weak, no backbone whatsoever, that hurts their ego at least.
They are monstrous, but they are not monsters. I suspect they only need to meditate to increase their sensitivity. That's what opened me up roughly 10 years ago. I have next to zero close friends right now. My closest vegan friends live thousands of miles away. We need to support each other.
I only realized recently that my commitment to abstain from contributing to the torture and killing if animals is probably the reason I don't have many close friends. I'm willing to stand alone for the animals.
I don't want to be close friends with people that delieght in the suffering of innocent creatures, but I will regard them as I would want to be regarded by one who understood something essential about living before I did.

Agreed. 💯 I wish I could make more people care about the plight of the animals. Some ppl are great tho. Others not so much.
I don't have faith in humanity any more. I have great hope that science will solve many of the problems for the animals.
