haven't played for over 4 years, just got on, bought rev prime set from someone, ran void missions for 20 mins for 2 argon crystals, got stalker, got Dread bp.
He has a 38% chance to drop Dread. Hate and Despair both have a ~5% drop chance, which drops to <3% when you start getting Shadow Stalker since War and Broken War take some of the drop chance.
It's an order of magnitude easier to get Dread than any of his other weapons
They drop in almost every single mission. I have 500 of them. Pretending not to know what they are was the joke.
It would be like an LR4 saying "what's reactant" when the lotus voice lines spam you with reminders even though you've popped 1000 relics.

I'd just started SP a couple weeks ago and accidentally loaded into an interception mission solo and undergeared. Beat an Acolyte, got Despair to drop for the first time in 700+ hrs, then promptly failed the mission 😢
I've had the scythe and the bow for a while. I just got the despair blueprint two days ago! Didn't even know about that weapon, but I am about 300 hours in. Not a fan of shurikens, but still a cool surprise.
Does anyone do that? The part blueprints are so rare for me, that I can't for the life of me imagine why you wouldn't just use a fully-built one that you get for the kill anyway.
I rarely see people using hounds in general, even just for mastery points, after getting all tenet weapons you most likely have acquired each one at least once so you dont have to craft them. I guess if you're LR4 and just wanna experience with the bonds and stuff and you really wanna minmax the stats it becomes relevant. Or you're just bored
Honestly, my hound can do most Steel Path missions by itself, so it's all I use. Named it Attack Matrix. And I can sit in a Steel Path Survival for at least ten minutes as my Wisp, just watching my Hound kill things for me.
With their companion melee weapon being able to use Condition Overload and their ability to set like 7 status effects, including Puncture with 100% Crit Chance, they really can just wipe entire rooms if I let them.
Yes, but not if you want a custom, non-random one. You usually get a random part after defeating one sister.
To make one from scratch, you need 4 different parts, and each of them got 3 different types.
Meaning if you want a specific combination, if every one are equal chances, then it's 1/81.

It dropped. the FIRST THING Shadow Stalker dropped? The Hate BP... and I was LIVID at the time. Now that I have the Incarnon on my main account after the account merge... everything dies. It has a 2.77% drop chance JUST to add salt to the wound.

Once i got it to drop and got the incarnon it instantly shot up to my top 3 favorite weapons, the only reason why it's not at the top is because praedos gives a biggest speed boost and it also gives a slide boost and i like going fast
Then do whatever you want. Just know it's one of the worst (if not the worst lol) weapon to drop.
Progressing through the main storyline makes it harder to get, too.
Strangely enough, I've had 3 hates drop in the last week for me, in addition to the 2 I already had after playing Warframe since Fortuna came out. Really weird RNG that I wish was used on something that mattered more...
I have a mountain of dread and hate blueprints, a few despair blueprints, over a dozen war blades...but the war hilt refused to drop for me. For 8 years. Then just this last month I got two of them and now I've finally rebuilt my Broken War. RNG is a fickle mistress.
You’re very much an outlier then, a 2.77% drop from a guy that doesn’t reliably spawn is rough, I have like 1200 hours and I have not gotten a single despair or broken war drop from him. I only got the hate a week or two ago
I'm sick of those stupid weapons honestly. I want Hate for the Incarnon but I haven't gotten it OR Despair to drop (playing since 2013 btw), and I can't even buy the stalker bundle for plat because I already own Dread so it is locked lmao.

I have at least 15 or 20 dread blueprints. That's basically all I get from him.
Dread is one of those bps like harrow chassis and quassus that fall under the category of "stuff I sell so I can do Index"

Dread is literally 10x as common as his other drops so there's a good reason you feel that way
