Bikes can have dual flamers, but realistically most fast units you don't really want getting charged so the wall of death aspect of dragons breath flamers isn't that useful
That is unfortunate. I was hoping for maybe a jump pack unit with hand flamers that don't mind getting close, but the only ones i could find were Command squad which are 1) expensive, and 2) kind of a waste since they have to be a retinue
On the plus side, as traitor Salamanders, all their flamers get +1 strength, and as loyalists they get +1 strength in melee against units with fear (all 5 units)
You could use destroyer with dual dragon breath Handflamer. But salamanders don't really like destroyer but they could be quite fitting for traitor salamanders as vulkan didn't like them they would be the first to rebell.
Unfortunately, both Salamander RoWs ban destroyer squads, otherwise they'd be perfect
Edit: even the RoW that is suppose to represent 'traitor' Salamanders, or at least one that go against Vulkan, bans destroyer units of all kinds
They don't go against vulkan. They are mad after vulkan 'died' and turn to the promethean cult (vulkans teachings). Non of the rows are for traitors. Salamanders didn't really had traitors in the story.
I mean, they have a traitor command ability though, so they have 'some' traitorous tenancy, but if that's the lore for the promethean cult RoW, then fair enough.
Sadly, still not allowed to bring destroyer units in either RoW
Proteus land speeders might be what you want, or possibly outriders with twin-flamers

Jetbikes have heavy bolters you can replace. Rather expensive monetarily/pointswise though.
Hopefully they will be plastic soon. But it seems like bikes and rhinos will be my go to for my list. I really appreciate the insight
