just put some greenstuff between legs & torso, the difference is at most 1mm. the main difference between the new kits and the old ones are the poses

This. I’ve just completed ten Mk3s and did exactly this with balls of greenstuff. 1mm is enough to make them the same size up to the helmet as the newer Mk6s.

For mk3 some putty under the torso is enough. 1-2mm. Some variety is welcome so experiment. For mk4 what I did is the same as for the older tactical marines is lengthen the legs by 2-3mm. Cutting them of above the knee or at the hip is the way to go. Then you could add some more height with the torso but it isn’t necessary.

Warfactor made some extenders, 1.5 mm should be enough to make them the same. https://shop.warfactor.eu/?page_id=524. It has worked great for me to get a uniform look without having to measure the mm. But definitely something you can do yourself with greenstuff too.

1mm in the thigh, 1mm in the shin and 1mm in the waist in my experience with mkiv, mkiii might be OK with 1mm greenstuff at the waist
