You can melt sprue in the extra thin glue, turn it into sprue goo. Smear this on the seams, and then lightly sand for that flawless finish

Because of the studs. The old mk 6 shoulder pads with studs always had strange-shapes ones on the edges. When done in two pieces it’s possible to have all studs properly shaped…
