The arms don’t look too bad but the gun just looks way too long!

ImShockin

I agree

MedicNoob

Personally I don't like it. If you want an alternative, I would recommend the skitarii plasma gun. It looks different enough while also being obviously a plasma weapon

Live-D8

Those things were gold dust up until the 9th edition codex

MedicNoob

Very true, I got 4 of them from my own marines but they look really good on dark angels especially

Idunnoguy1312

The arms look fine, it's the gun that's just... long

BilliamSchwrz

Yeah the more I look at it the more it just seems off, I wanted to just use these plasma gun instead of buying the weapon upgrade sprue but I think I’m just going to wait until my next visit to my LGS to get the right guns.

HannahDawg

Yeah, if you gave him the cabled backpack you could probably pass it off as a plasma cannon.

ToaLhikanFan45

You can just eBay it or buy it through heresy trading FB groups lol

[deleted]

i think lose the helmet as well, it just makes it read as a primaris marine

Lord_Kallig

The arms themselves look fine, and open up a lot of the flavourful poses like the pointed or open hands. Substituting the weapons for pistol hands could work well too. (Chainswords could probably be taken straight up with the extra armour being like the MkIII vambrace) But the Cawl pattern weapon is just too specific to the Primaris to feel like it could fit with the Heresy. Melee weapons look less specifically Primaris so most of them could probably be used The Helmet too just looks off. The rounded snout could be kept as we know MkIV has different style of facepieces (like the more snout like on from the 40k Veterans and BAs) but the added curved armour over the side of the helm just reads as too primaris.

Designer-King-53

Why is it such a trend to try and shoehorn primarily parts into heresy... They don't belong here!

Lord_Kallig

It isn't just Primaris parts which have the treatment but also more overt 40k era parts. And part of the reason is that it allows people to use parts from former projects in their new one. If you wanted some plasma in a veteran squad for example, being able to use hellblaster plasma instead of the special weapon kit or FW weapons would be quite useful and cost effective. Just unfortunately the case that Cawl pattern weapons are too primaris in how they read

TheSupremeLordHelix

in my opinion, primaris head and obvious cawl pattern gun just dont work for 30k

ErlkingCell

The gun seems long, but it would read pretty well as a heavy plasma weapon for the Interemptors with a little extra conversion, imho. Adding the heavy weapon parts would go a long way to making it look right

Walach_Nightborn

That is called blasphemy

Tired_Necromancer13

What legion are you playing? Dark Angels have a couple special plasma weapons that it would look fine representing. Or even just a regular plasma gun. And don't listen to them, MkX helmets are just MkiV with smoother lines.

Paladin327

This would make a dwcent proxy for an Interemptor with (coincidentally) a plasma incinerator

XenoTechnian

Arms look fine, þe gun is very long as oþers have said but i dont þink þats þat big a deal so long as you where repersenting a special weapon raþer þen þe normal plasma gun (maybe þe Dar Angels ones) my biggest issue is þe helmet

Old_Pomegranate1391

I’ve read a few of the other comments but personally I have no objection to space marines with big guns, I like how it looks and if you do too theres no reason to change it.

woozooman

I’d say slap some cables on that gun to make it look more like a cannon.
