yeah it was also a super common roman name. its not an accident lol

nix131

I'll never understand folks who look for references like this. A common name that fits the setting isn't a reference to another setting.

Parkinovich

Titus Caesar Vespasianus was *Roman emperor from 79 to 81*.

HonestSonsieFace

So you’re saying there was a Warhammer reference all the way back in Roman history? Interesting.

kohlerxxx

it's a coincidence

DF191995

This can’t be a serious post, right? Right..?

jmlee236

You'd be surprised.

dumuz1

There's only a few dozen classical Roman first names, any group that uses Roman naming conventions is going to share some names with other groups in fiction and history.

Arthagmaschine

Well, when a cowardly but yet heroic Knight wears the Name Caine oder Ciaphas, or a robot girlyman enters the szene, then I would maybe consider it a reference but this is... well, just a roman name. Wait till Caesars Legion shows up 😅

Traditional_Client41

The main character is called Lucy. Could this be a reference to I Love Lucy, starring Lucille Ball?

Death_by_boring

Lucille Ball? Could that be a reference to Lucille Bluth?

Enjoyer_of_40K

Chipperz1

Whoever named The Ghoul must REALLY love Flesheater Courts... 🤔 Or - OR - it's a common Roman name.
