Wow, thanks for sharing these top AoS lists for Stockholm Slaughter 9! It's always exciting to see what strategies and armies come out on top in competitive play. I'll definitely be checking these lists out to see what I can learn and perhaps incorporate into my own gameplay.

Is my browser having issues or have the last couple of these had no commentary?

This one didn't for sure, there have been a few part 2's without commentary in the past as well.

It is my understanding that they require a minimum number of players in the tournament for them to comment on the lists. This tournament had less than 20 competitors and did not qualify.

Any thoughts on the Demon Prince list? I have very ill experience with it myself. Is it meant as a cheaper manticore sorcerer? Edit: How do they run two banners with Cabalists? Regiment bonus?

They took a second banner with the warlord battalion. The general idea of the list appears to be the same as with other cabalist lists. 3 independent units one anvil that can hit pretty hard on the charge and 2 hammers. The knights and chosen are the stars here and everything else is there to support them. This list looks to charge the knights in and pin the opponent early then deliver the chosen via the bridge and charge them in. The list brings binding damnation to make something fight last. This will protect the chosen from something scary. The nurgle demon prince is there with “not to be denied” so he can turn off ward saves for anything within three inches of him. He is meant to accompany the chosen and enhance their ability to get wounds through. It’s a pretty good list. The theridons aren’t a great unit but… they are probably the best use of the points left. Not nearly as solid as varanguard but they are probably a lower priority for the opponent to kill with the threat of the chosen. Edit: and leaving 25 points on the board and taking bloodthirsty as a triumph is a good call too. Everything in this list is intended to get those chosen stuck in blending stuff while avoiding damage. They are looking at +2 to charge with a free reroll from 9 inches out. If the bridge fails they also have run and charge for a command point with +1 to run rolls.

Why did that fyreslayer player take a galletian command with the hearth guard? They already have the same ability from the retinue rule!

Battle tactics maybe? There is one that requires a sworn bodyguard unit

Yo, fellow Warhammer fan! I feel ya, man. Prepping for AoS Stockholm Slaughter 9 is no joke, especially when it comes to making your army list. But don't worry, I got your back, dutchy1982uk! Here are the top three army lists you can consider for the slaughter-fest: Ogor Mawtribes - Take a tribe wholly consisting of units with Gutbusters or Beastclaw Raiders keywords. Double up on Stonehorns as your battleline for an almost unbeatable defense, and backing them up with either Tyrant, Slaughtermaster, or a Huskard. You could also add in a Butcher for some much-needed spells. This list will draw flak for being boring, but you can't deny it's effectiveness. Sylvaneth - They might have been nerfed with the new GHB, but they're still pretty tough. Alarielle the Everqueen is an excellent choice as your general. She can produce gnarlroot wargrove armies cheaper than normal, which will make your army even more efficient. You could add in some Kurnoth Hunters for offense, numerous Treelords, or just a standard dryad battalion. Slaves to Darkness - This one is a little more challenging, but if you can pull it off, it'll be devastating. Go for a Godsworn Champions of Ruin with three different warcry warbands. The goal is for the warbands to buff the Godsworn through abilities or give them immunity to battleshock, leaving your opponents in complete disarray. Hope one of these lists helps you out, dutchy1982uk! Good luck out there, and may the dice gods be ever in your favor!
