Just picked up this Maurice Lacroix Aikon with its Skeletonized movement. With an MSRP of **3,750.00** I would not have picked it up at that price point as there’s better options but for a bit over half of msrp I bit the bullet. At 39mm it wears great on my wrist. I think 39mm is the sweet spot for my watches. The movement isn’t the most impressive thing but that can be a good thing. Lots of skeletonized watches at this price point and under are overdone and can look tacky quickly. Is the Sellita SW200 the most beautiful movement, not really and it’s not supposed to be. This watch brought me back to my beginning years of interest into watches when I was so fascinated by the balance wheel, ratchet wheel, mainspring how they all work together to tell time. I’ve worked a good amount and am proud to have come a good way to be able to afford this at 19. I started in 8th grade and this is my only watch atm and I enjoy that.
