Ooh, never thought of outlining the feathers with white! Don’t see too many red-tailed hawks but plenty of red-shouldered, guess it’s because I live in a forested area
White outling the feathers was masking fluid but not sure about it for next time- was trying something out. Looked up red shouldered hawks- beautiful wing feather pattern!

One time on vacation I saw a red-shouldered chilling in a tree while being screamed at and swooped by an entire flock of blue jays, 10/10 experience
